Editorial Reviews

Review

This book is a gem. Although it is a field guide, this 656 page book can serve as a reference book or can be read from cover to cover. It would be worthwhile to take this readable book along on a road trip or camping trip for night-time reading. --Aquilegia Book Review by Jan Loechell Turner

Format: Paperback
If you only take one book along for your travels in the Southern Rockies, this is it. It's easy to find whatever you want to learn about geology, plants or wildlife through the well designed sections full of vivid details. Simply a great reference in field guide form, but with captivating prose that brings the region to life.
