From the manufacturer
Nate purchased his first beehive in 1996. He had just gotten back from his honeymoon with his wife Patty when he began making his own honey, and a year later, Nate began bottling honey in his garage. In 2010, Nate committed to honey full-time.
Nature Nate's has grown from the original team of seven people to employ more than 100 team members and is quickly growing. Not only has Nate built a business from his garage up, but he has also given back to the community along the way. We grow to give!
Our honey has nothing added or taken away. Just as nature intended
'I am only willing to put products on your family's table that I'd be proud to put on my own family's table.' - Nate
From humble beginnings, Nature Nate’s has grown over the last couple decades into more than just a honey company. We’re made up of moms & dads, sons & daughters, whom all care about providing quality food for our families. We understand the difficulty of preparing wholesome meals while trying to maintain the right work/life balance. That’s why we have carefully crafted and perfected our process to bring you honey that you can trust is real and of the highest quality (and tastes good, too!)
Raw & Unfiltered: What We Do (& What We Don't)
Blend: It makes our honey extraordinary.
We comb the U.S. and Canada and partner with beekeepers to get the best honeys for our blends, which include clover, canola, wildflower and tallow honey. In return, a raw blended honey like ours has a more complex and nuanced flavor. Deep. Balanced. Sweet. You can tell the difference.
Raw: Honey is amazing. Why mess with it?
We don’t cook our honey at high temperatures. High heat just ruins all the good stuff that makes honey so amazing. Instead, we gently warm the raw honey so we can handle it, you know, so it can be poured, lightly strained and bottled.
Unfiltered: We keep the good stuff in.
The honey we get is straight from the hive. So naturally, there will be some bee parts and chunks of pollen and wax floating around. So we strain it. Straining, not filtering, lets all the good stuff through, but keeps the bigger stuff out.
Test: Only the best get a bright orange label.
Bees make honey. And it’s that unadulterated honey we want. No antibiotics. No pesticides. No herbicides. And no added corn or rice syrups. And so we test* the honey that comes through our loading dock day after day. Our only ingredient is just as nature intended: honey.

Classic Nature Nate's Pure Raw & Unfiltered Honey
Nature Nate’s Raw & Unfiltered Honey is Made by North American Bees and comes straight from the hive – just as nature intended. It is not heated at high temperatures, and the pollens have not been filtered out. Each batch is tested for a high pollen count and a clean read of corn syrup adulteration, pesticides, herbicides and antibiotics before going into your bottle. Choose the size that fits your family best.
If you’re asking yourself, 'Does honey expire?' or 'Why has my honey turned solid?' We’ve got the answers. Real Honey Crystallizes!
At Nature Nate’s Honey Co. our honey is pure. Nothing added. Because Nature Nate’s honey is raw & unfiltered, this golden goodness is subject to change in natural ways, one of these changes is the crystallization process. There are a few different reasons for crystallization, like high pollen count, cooler temperatures, and natural sugars found in honey like fructose & glucose.
In order to return your favorite sweetener to its liquid state, simply give your Nature Nate’s bottle a bath. Don’t microwave it or put it in boiling water! You want to gently warm the honey without overheating, as high heat ruins enzymes found in honey. So take a large bowl, fill it with warm water and let your bottle rest until the crystals begin to melt away.
Whichever form you like best, it’s still deliciously golden honey. Even if the crystallization process begins in your Nature Nate’s bottle, know that this is a normal, natural process and your honey is still good to enjoy.
Nature Nate’s pledges to produce raw and unfiltered honey that meets at least five stringent criteria to satisfy its high-quality standards for the purest blends. These include honey with no adulteration, a low moisture content measure for its natural crystallization to form, proper acidity levels, growth at bee farms that are nearest to plants free from pesticides and antibiotics, and produced without using additives, such as rice or corn syrups, in the final product. Since it is impossible in the US to ensure that a bee has exclusively visited organic flowers, Nature Nate’s sought outside of the US for authentically organic sources. This reliable, premium honey blend is a product of Brazil and Uruguay – produced by raw, unfiltered and completely organic suppliers with a bottle dressed to match. Look for the green label and experience the unique taste of Nature Nate’s 100% Pure Raw & Unfiltered Organic Honey, sustainably packaged in America and US Grade A.

I read a few of the negative reviews on here, and I feel that there are some misconceptions. Some reviewers say the honey must not be organic and raw because it’s too runny. Others say it must not be organic and raw because it isn’t runny enough. Others say it must contain sugar because it crystallizes. After doing my own research, I discovered that raw, organic honey can have different shades of color and different consistencies based on the nectar source. All raw, organic honey crystallizes over time, but the rate of crystallization depends on the nectar (the amount of natural sugar in the nectar) and how long the honey sat on a shelf before making its way to you. The honey I received from Amazon had crystallized, so I am guessing it sat on a shelf in their warehouse for a while. The honey I got straight from Nature Nate’s was perfect and delicious. I believe this is good quality, raw, organic honey, and I am very happy to buy it from a reputable, caring, Christian company. I will definitely continue to buy this honey.
After doing some additional research online, I decided that I'd give this honey a try. I'm glad I did. To find locally (US) sourced honey and to know it doesn't have high-fructose corn syrup added it sincerely desired and appreciated.
We very much like this honey.
PROS: Great 100% honey, no additives!
CONS: None noted
Retested honey and got sick again; upset tummy, sharp pain lower abdomen, diarrhea
I have bought this brand’s regular and organic honey, and did a taste test. The organic is distinctly sweeter than the regular. So if you’re buying for taste, the organic is sweeter.
I've used this a lot in making Pad Thai, and Korean Fried Chicken. If you use honey a lot, this is a giant bottle that will last you awhile. Recommended.
