This is my favorite tent I’ve ever owned. It’s handled all sorts of conditions and left me dry and bug free every time. The design seems to be where adaptation meets copy; maybe just enough changes to not be a clone of another brand. I bought it to try out the form factor before buying the high end brand version. But I’ve been very impressed with the overall quality of the materials and components. After two years of use, I’ve had no issues at all and I don’t think you can get a better quality, light weight, two person tent until you hit the $400 range. It includes everything that would typically be an addon. The ground cover works great, the stakes are perfect. It’s dual layer, free standing and rain-pitchable. The two person model is comfortable and roomy for one. Two can sleep in it, but it’s cozy and you’ll probably have to leave some gear outside. It’s a great choice for weekend backpacking or motorcycle camping.

I have almost no experience putting up tents, and was able to put this tent up by myself the first time in less than fifteen minutes. It would have taken less time if I’d watched one of the many YouTube videos about how to set up this tent first. It felt bigger inside than other two person tents I have been in, probably because the sides don’t slant in as much as the others. It’s got a hook to hang a light on at the top, and a pretty spacious pocket to store things at the top as well. It is sturdy feeling, but packs up very compactly. This tent weighs in the neighborhood of four and a half pounds, which serious backpacking friends tell me is heavier than they like for a backpack trip. (They like to keep a tent around two pounds.) I haven’t gotten beyond car camping, and it is perfect for me.

This is *straight up* the exact same tent as the MSR hubba hubba tent. I'm not kidding. This tent is absolutely awesome. I got it because (like most people) I couldn't afford a $400 tent. This mongar tent came with a footprint, fly, and in purple. *purple!!*

I set this up on a windy day just to see how it works, and it was *great*! When actually using it, I took it on a multi-day road trip where I packed and unpacked it for four consecutive nights, then another for two nights. There was not a single rip, tear, or snag in this thing after any of this. My boyfriend, who got a different 2 person tent off amazon, had at least twelve holes in his after the end of this journey. (yellow tent). He returned his.

There are three little pockets - one of them is in the roof and can hold a light. The other two are at the head and foot of the tent and are shallow (about 5 in) and span the width of the tent. Size-wise, the tent is really snug for two people. For anyone over 5' 10" it might be uncomfortable. For one person, it's nice and comfy for a big sleeping bag, a sleeping pad, and a carry-on suitcase. The tent is very light and easy to put up. I didn't have any trouble except for the crossbeams. (the poles in this tent resemble this : >-+-<. The + part spins around and it can be a little hard to do them as just one person, but it's manageable if you line it up and then set up the poles. The fastening mechanisms that click the pole to the tent body are well made and won't unclip in wind or rain etc. Mine was fast to set up and easy to stake - stakes are optional imo, only if it's hot or if there's a lot of wind/rain.

The way that the poles go into the footprint and tent body & fly, I recommend putting the footprint loops over first, *then* the tent body loops. That way if you move the tent the footprint won't slip off.

The 6 stakes included are the really nice lightweight ones you'd find at REI (for like $4 apiece lol). Overall highly recommend this tent. It's totally worth the $. One thing different from the MSR hubba hubba - the body of this tent (the purple one) had a bucket floor but other than that it was entirely mesh. I was worried about privacy at first but then saw that I'd always put the fly on and that having the mesh really helped with ventilation. With the fly on, it's nice and warm, down to about 40F. I can't vouch for anything under that because I haven't camped in it.

Overall I would recommend this tent to anybody! Especially people who are tired of overpaying for literally everything outdoor related.

I have had this tent for almost a year now and I'm still in love with it. I opted for the bright pink one and don't regret it a bit! I've taken it to the beach car camping overnighting in the woods near my home in FL, and in May I took it on a backpacking trip in NC. It is not the lightest option on the market but the value for the money can't be beat. It's incredibly durable and held up in pouring rain with no leaks or drips; I stayed dry and toasty. I didn't even have any condensation on the inside because of the vents. 15/10, would buy again.

Have used this tent a few times now but this past weekend my wife and I took it to Arkansas on a backpacking trip and our last night it poured. We ended up being in a slight low spot and there was about an inch of water standing and none got into the tent. The base of the tent felt like a water bed with all the water under it and still none seeped through. It is a tight fit for 2 people but still can manage. Another perk is that it comes with a good and light footprint.

I’m camping in co. Cork Ireland and last night was quite something. Weather yellow warning! I got a bit worried as the tent was shaking a lot but it didn’t let me down. I stayed dry all night and there is absolutely no damage to it. Big smile on my face this morning 😊 Very similar to the MSR Hubba Hubba. It doesn’t beat it of course, as the MSR is top of the range but it’s a nice piece of kit at a reasonable price.

Used it for the first time last weekend. Easy to pitch and it did the job for my wife and myself. Our camping ground was on the side of a river in a very exposed area. We got a lot of wind and rain and the tent stayed up and no water infiltration.

Only negative note: the pitch are very weak and we broke 4. The notch near the top that is supposed to hold the loops on the fly are the weak spot. Even tough we pitched the tent in soft ground (sand), the pitch bent at the not and broke. I will buy new pitch of better quality. They will be heavier but more robust.

I reached a lot before I decided to get this tent! Met all my criteria, lightweight 2 person tent with 2 doors! I only do summer camping and this is more than sufficient. Have taken it out on multiple camping trips and it has been great.

Easy to setup and I like how you can set up the flies first. Had to set up tent during rain once and it was nice to not get inner tent wetter than necessary!

The only downside is that stakes are not super strong, broke one on first use.

I haven’t used this camping yet, but because of the quick return dates, wanted to try and make sure it held up. Set this up outside in my backyard, survived rain through 2 nights and hail one afternoon. No drips inside at all.
