Great to use as a preventative...while it also works to decrease the length of sickness with dosing more during that time. If I get sick, it's normal for me to be sick all winter (flu turns to bronchitis, then pneumonia). It's been that way ever since the 1st time I got pneumonia many years ago. Last year I caught a bug from my Granddaughter, and hadn't gotten my normal flu shot yet. I used this product, and to my surprise, I was able to kick the flu very fast. I was impressed, so much so, that I opted to not get a flu shot this year either. I wound up with Norovirus last month, that was going around through my Granddaughter's school, and again this product worked (I hadn't been using it as a preventative yet this season). I was rid of it much quicker than my husband, and since he had a weakened immune system, he got the flu right after. He used this, and knocked the flu down fast. He calls it my "hippie juice", but will be the 1st to tell others how well it works. I make sure to keep it on hand at all times now (I keep my own bottle, and one for my husband).

I read about this herb in a book about ancient Native American healing methods in the midwest. The author considered this one of the most important herbs and I can see why it has such a reputation for boosting immunity. With three school-aged children and a husband who works in healthcare, I am typically walloped with the flu and multiple colds each winter. Not this time, however. It has been an easy and refreshing addition to my herbal repertoire and I will continue to take it. The flavor is similar to parsley.

Diagnosed with hypothyroidism in 2010,
I reached the end of 2018 at a point where I was sick and tired of being sick and tires. After working with an amazing doctor who listened to me and didn't call me crazy for all my symptoms, we determined that Epsteinn Barr Virus was the root cause of my Hashimoto's thyroiditis. Within 6 weeks of taking this tincture, my IGG went from off the charts to like I had never had EBV in the first place! A year later and no change to my thyroid meds dosage, and I'm borderline hyperthyroid! I wouldn't call this drug itself a miracle, but natural remedies have their place in this synthetic world, and I'm so grateful to have found a doctor who will not just look at my labs and tell me it was all in my head. Yesterday I ran my 2nd half marathon in under 2:30, a feat that I would not have thought possible just a few short years ago.
In the year since I cured my EBV, I've taken lomatium with dandelion root in orange juice whenever I feel any kind of sickness coming on and it has definitely made everything easier to overcome and shortened the duration. This stuff is AMAZING!

I am not sure that this problem is attributable to the seller. The product may have been damaged either in the warehouse or during shipment. This is being used for purposes and as needed. So it was a big disappointment and a hassle when I realize that it was leaking. The liquid inside the bottle was leaking all over my counter and important papers. It has a pension owner which added into the aggravation. I had to order another bottle because I need the product. I could have gone to Health Food store but I’m hoping that this is an isolated incident. Amazon or the seller should refund the purchase for the initial bottle that was defective upon arrival. This problem I have nothing to do with the seller, so please take that into consideration when you’re reading this review and consideration for purchase.

We have used lomatium for years to treat numerous health concerns including strep throat, colds, flus, stomach bugs, mouth sores, and infections. It has worked great every time. We often use other natural products too, but this is one of the strongest we use and sometimes the only the one we use.. While others are often very sick for days or even weeks we seldom get sick and if we do get well very quickly and usually never have a full blown case of what is going around. Lomatium has been very helpful in helping us stay well.
