Nature's Miracle(R) Stain and Odor Remover for cats is tough on cat urine, feces, vomit, drool and other organic stains and odors. The bacteria-based formula produces enzymes when in contact with bio-based messes to target spot stains and odors while freshening with a light, citrus scent. The ready to use spray bottle helps you get to work right away.

Step 1 Always use full strength. Do not dilute. Stain Removal: Wipe up as much of the stain as possible, then thoroughly soak the stain. Odor Elimination: Wipe up excess odor-causing material, then thoroughly soak area. *Saturation is important so that this product can penetrate deeply to the odor source.	Step 2 Stain Removal: Allow to work for 10 minutes. Odor Elimination: Leave treated area wet and let it air dry. Odor will fade as the product dries. Complete odor elimination only happens when all odor sources are reached.	Step 3 Stain Removal: Blot up stain with a clean cloth. Allow area to dry for 24 hours. For severe, old or stubborn stains on carpeting or fabrics, follow steps 1-2 with gently scrubbing the stain with a soft bristle brush for 1 minute, then allow to dry for 24 hours. Odor Elimination: do not wipe up excess. For sever, old or stubborn stains on carpeting or fabrics, saturate a towel with water and lay over treated area for 1-2 hours. I like to say I'm one cat short of crazy. We have a "few" cats we've rescued over the years and this stuff is one of our go-to items. Most importantly we have two male cats and one of them pee's in random places. It's beyond frustrating. Boxes, blankets, toy bins, most recently our baby's car seat... and sometimes the litter box! Hands down, in my opinion, this spray is the best! If we don't spray with it he will go back to wherever he peed and pee some more. With this he moves on. This is the only thing we've found to get the smell out and actually make whatever he peed on smell good again. It's great for when the cats throw up hairballs, etc. as well. I love it. It's been a miracle send for our house!

I wish I had read the reviews on this. Since the overall review was so high (must have been in error), I didn't read the individual reviews. The bottle did not show a scent, and it was inexpensive. WHAT A MISTAKE. From spraying two small areas on a carpet, all wings of my house (and upstairs) are filled with a chemical Febreze type heavily scented odor that actually gets in your lungs. The product description (which I didn't see) says it has a citrus scent. It absolutely does not. This product is going into the trash, but I have no idea how to get the smell out other than throwing away an expensive rug.

New formula harsh on carpet color

I've used Nature's Miracle for more than a decade to clean up cat hairballs and vomit, mostly on the same wall-to-wall carpet, with great results and no problems. I recently ran out of a large bottle of the old formulation which was at the end of its enzymatic life, and bought a new bottle earlier this year.

While I don't find the strong scent as annoying as others have, I have noticed this formulation has faded the carpet in several places where I've used it -- in one case, significantly because I applied it three times in the same spot, assuming the color change was actually a stubborn stain. It wasn't. Nature's Miracle seems to be reacting with the carpet dye to lighten or bleach it. Several areas of greenish brown carpet are now orangish brown.

While the carpet is 11 years old, the old bottles of Nature's Miracle didn't have this kind of negative impact. I'm going to have to switch to another product and consider replacing some of the carpet. It did get the stains out, though, and has not had any impact on the color of newer area rugs.

What happened to Nature's Miracle? The old formula had a light pleasant scent and worked like a charm. The new stuff has an entirely different ingredient list, smells like any toxic artificial cleaning liquid you can buy in Walmart, and has a big "keep away from pets" warning that never used to be on there. The company name is different, the website address is different, did these guys get bought out? COMPLETELY DIFFERENT PRODUCT from what I used to buy at the pet store. Horribly disappointing! Arrived leaking! I'd return it but don't want to deal with the mess and hassle, and I bought two bottles of this junk. Never, never again.

I was pleasantly surprised to find this product (Nature's Miracle Cat Stain and Odor Remover) really worked! I've tried several other brands that didn't live up to the claims. I have 3 (large/long) neutered males, aged 3 - 14, and they sometimes miss the box and the urine lands on the plastic liner I use under and up/around their 2 boxes. I can clean up the overflow, but the smell always lingered. The first time I tried Nature's Miracle, I noticed within what seemed like only moments that the urine smell was greatly cut. It seems to neutralize (rather than cover up) the urine smell. I have recommended it to my sister, and will let other cat lovers know. Thanks for a really nice product!

Works for multiple applications (pets and PITS)

Great value on Amazon (at time of purchase, my local store is selling it for over double this price!)

I use it for both the occasional, unfortunate cat urine accident as well as to spray on the armpits of my shirts before washing (as per Lumē deodorant directions). It really does work for both applications. If you're a Lumē user, or if you have stinky pits in general, give this a try for sure. I went a couple weeks trying to use Lumē before using this spray on my shirts, and the results are night and day!

I just wish the scent wasn't so strong. If it actually works to break down the odors and bacteria (which I think it does), why is perfume even necessary to mask anything? I will re-order again, but if they have a non-scented version I'll opt for that next time :) Even with the strong scent, 5 stars for me.

5 male cats in a small house is a recipe for a lot of messes. Our most recent addition is a tom cat that we found huddled under a bush in the front yard. Although he doesn’t spray, one of our older fixed males has started to establish his dominance... I’m hoping the spraying will cease after the tom is fixed, but until then Natures Miracle does the trick in removing odors, stains, and deterring him from that spot. The smell is strong but pleasant and clean, which is obviously better than urine odors. It also works well for cleaning up that cat vomit/hair ball gift left for me after an 8 hour shift at work. It brings up the stain and odor. Nice! 5 stars.

Nature's Miracle was used on my sofa that was sprayed by a visiting scared cat. The smell was unbearable and upsetting as I keep my home clean. Following the directions, this product was very easy to use it worked very quickly. The pleasant citrus smell, which cats do not like, is suppose to deter future spraying on this sofa. Sofa is still drying and therefore I can not comment on the time it takes to dry or how long the pleasant citrus scent lasts. This is a miracle and would definitely buy again.
