Nature's Miracle(R) Stain and Odor Remover for dogs is tough on dog urine, feces, vomit, drool and other organic stains and odors. The bacteria-based formula produces enzymes when in contact with bio-based messes to target spot stains and odors while freshening with a light, citrus scent.

How to Use


Step 1 Always use full strength. Do not dilute. Stain Removal: Wipe up as much of the stain as possible, then thoroughly soak the stain. Odor Elimination: Wipe up excess odor-causing material, then thoroughly soak area. Saturation is important so that this product can penetrate deeply to the odor source.	Step 2 Stain Removal: Allow to work for 10 minutes. Odor Elimination: Leave treated area wet and let it air dry. Odor will fade as the product dries. Complete odor elimination only happens when all odor sources are reached.	Step 3 Stain Removal: Blot up stain with a clean cloth. Allow area to dry for 24 hours. For severe, old or stubborn stains on carpeting or fabrics, follow steps 1-2 with gently scrubbing the stain with a soft bristle brush for 1 minute, then allow to dry for 24 hours. Odor Elimination: do not wipe up excess. For severe, old or stubborn stains on carpeting or fabrics, saturate a towel with water and lay over treated area for 1-2 hours. I have used it one time on the worst area. The floor is click lock water proof (not resistant) composite type flooring that I had just put down myself in our living room. It has a foam underpayment underneath. My older dog (40lbs+) peed heavily in that area almost every night while we were gone. I could tell the pee soaked down between the groove up against the marble floor tile hearth of our fireplace possibly getting to the foam padding. It is thin and has a sealed surface so hopedully not much should have soaked into the foam. Our puppysitter cleaned the area every time with a store bought spray bottle type pet cleaning product, paper towels and clorox wipes. Unfortunately the odor left was very bad. I soaked the area with undiluted nature's miracle stain and odor remover pouring right from the bottles into a bucket to avoid splaterring all over. I soaked my sponge mop into the bucket and only partially squeezed it out. I scrubbed the floor with a sponge mop to spread it all around and push it down into the cracks. I soaked the floor very well and allowed it to air. I am very impressed with how the floor looked once it dried and how well the odor faded away. I expexted a cloudy film or streaks. The floor was clean and no sign of cloudiness. :-D It took a week or so for odor to ton air fade away but it has worked very well. I can detect only a very slight smell maybe when the heat is up if my nose is close to the floor. I intend to repeat the mopping of undiluted nature's miracle again and expect that the smell will be completely undetectable after that. I have worked on are another area of light beige carpet that our pomchi has repeatedly peed on. After only one time of scrubbing the carpet it has dried to look fresh and clean. I soaked it with undiluted nature's miracle, scrubbed the area with a dry terry towel and allowed it to air dry. I vacuumed the carpet well once it dried just to work the nap up. I am relieved the the nature's miracle does not have a strong smell or hard on the skin. I get headaches easily and I have no complaints, this stuff is great! Be aware though, Dry pet food with a lot of dye in it, vitimans and some medications, may cause your pets pee to be dark in color staining your carpet. Blotting up what you can with a paper towel and then soaking the area with undiluted natures miracle is your best bet in avoiding a stain.

It's very Subjective...I Don't Mind New Scent

I was super apprehensive about purchasing Nature's Miracle Stain & Odor Remover after reading so many negative reviews concerning the new scent. My desperation forced me to take the risk. I do not regret that decision.

I liken the debate concerning the new scent to the scent new cars have. Some people l-o-v-e the smell of a new car – it’s so desirable to some that several air freshener companies actually recreated it. On the other hand, there are others that have a strong disdain for that odor.

It’s obvious that a fondness or repulsion for a particular scent and reactions to specific fragrances are subjective. Some reviewers claimed that the odor made them feel ill: nauseous, headache, etc. Others believed the product simply mingled with the scent of urine creating a new revolting smell. I don’t disbelieve them, however, none of this occurred in my household.

If you have read any of my other reviews on cat-related items you will know that at one time we had a very stable, peaceful household until we adopted a sweet calico named Pippa. Contrary to what we had been told, Pippa did not live harmoniously with other cats. After months and months of kitty segregation and painfully slow introductions, Miss Pip finally, begrudgingly, acquiesced to the fact that she was not the solo cat in the home. So, while the hissing and/or fighting has greatly diminished, the territorial battle rages on...and on..and on!

Pippa urinates around her box, on a tarp, typically. According to our vet, the next steps involve working with a cat behavior specialist. Until I am comfortable dishing out several hundred dollars for a more-than-likely uncertain outcome, we’ll continue to clean up Pippa’s puddles. Once in a while, Pippa urinates on a towel left on the bathroom floor, or sweater that didn’t quite make it into the hamper. On very rare occasion she urinates on the carpet near the other cats toys. All of these scenarios cause us to be dependant on Natur'es Miracel Stain & Odor Remover.

I cannot comment on the it's ability to remove stains, as we have never needed it for that purpose. However, I can, unequivocally state that in my opinon (and that's what you're paying the big bucks for *wink*) the new scent does NOT change the effectiveness of this product.

This definitely works very well. One of our dogs, who is very old and losing her ability to "hold it" all day long, had an accident on a high pile rug. I tried EVERYTHING to remove the odour. Vinegar, baking soda, Arm N' Hammer, essential oil blend that I mixed myself... NOTHING WORKED! The stain came out no problem, but the smell? If we didn't keep the door open to that room, within hours the entire space stank. I ordered this and poured about 1/2 cup on the area, scrubbed hard, and then left it to dry over night. It's been two weeks and the room still smells fresh as ever.

great product works well for my smelly doggie and especially good for clothing items and throws before putting them in the wash, helps the laundry come out smelling better compared to just putting the laundry in the machine- you can still smell the doggy odour but with this product if you spray it prior to going into machine it works wonders and it smells as fresh as it should. Glad they do the gallon larger size as its great value so you can refill the spray bottle from first purchase. Still use it and my dog is now 3 years old

I can't really tell if this product has prevented my puppy from eliminating the same spots over and over again because, honestly, he's eliminated in most spots of my house by now. What I can say is that this product has a very STRONG CHEMICAL SMELL that lingers in the air after you've applied to the stain.
