WOW...I won't go without these from now on!
Seriously...these are a life saver. I actually bought mine from a well known big store that's in most towns for a MUCH better price (I think I paid $6.47 for the same size and everything).
I'm almost 40 and am going through perimenopause (all the daughters of daughters on my mothers side hits menopause between the age of 40 and 42) so this is not uncommon in my family. Anyhoo, here's the deal. I have (for years now and progressively getting worse each month) terrible irritation/agitation, depressive feelings, extremely sluggish and tired feeling all of the time...I feel more down and ill than I don't...I've also in the past few months have had extreme nausea and headaches/migraines. My quality of life has been in the pits for a while...and if you're in perimenopause, you know EXACTLY what I'm talking about. I've also had some hot flashes but mostly cold chills. I exercise almost daily 20 min. or more (low impact aerobic -personally, I've enjoyed fitness hooping for 6+ years now) and drink lots of water through all of this. I've tried all kinds of natural ways to balance my hormones just to feel better (I refuse to do any HRT because I have a bad feeling about doing that and the side effects are very undesirable).
So, one day I was at this big store that everyone knows well and came across these. Now they don't seem to advertise benefits for women in perimenopause/this stage of their lives...but I liked what was in these. I've read that as we get older and go through these changes...our bodies aren't getting the vitamins, nutrients and minerals that they so desperately need to basically just a have a general feeling of Well Being. I liked that these vitamins have AMAZING ingredients from real fruits and real vegetables plus it is loaded with B vitamins which are not only amazing for women's bone health and what-not...but also for our metabolism. I decided to give them a try. WOW. I don't anything else now...I just take one of these in the morning time with some food. I don't have nausea from these...I'll eat some, then take the vitamin and continue eating the rest of my food. I like to make sure I've got a little something already in my belly before taking one and then for good measure just add a little more food in there for better absorption.
After just 1 week of taking these (honestly I felt benefits after just taking 1 the first time...but that's me) I haven't felt this good in a VERY LONG time. So much so that I had to come to amazon be sure to leave a review for perimenopausal women (especially). Seriously, sometimes I felt those pms/crankies/woozies trying to creep in from time to time...but then bam! Those feelings are completely gone. As far as the daily nausea...the more I've taken these...the less I'm experiencing that. The sluggishness...COMPLETELY Annihilated already. I feel Fantastic! I've been getting so much done, feeling so good and happy. Depressed and/or feeling down....GONE! I'm feeling like my happier younger self and I just can't stress enough to women going through this time in their life to just give these a try....but you have to make sure you are taking them EVERY day. Like I said, this is the ONLY thing I'm taking and I feel SO AWESOME.
I really felt the need to come on here and leave this review because if any of you are like me, you have searched the internet for remedies on how to better your perimenopausal experience.
I can't promise that this will work for you the way it does for me...but you have to at least try. Honestly, I'm an extremely thrifty buyer and these have upped my quality of life so quickly and naturally that if these were as much money in the big store I shop at as they are here...they would still be worth the high cost to me. Like I said, I won't go without these anymore...and I plan, when I turn 50 (hopefully they will continue to make these then) I will be taking their Alive Womens energy for 50+ :) I'm a customer for life :)
