About the Author

Nicole Austin lives on the sheltered Gulf Coast of Florida, where inspiration can be found sitting under a big shade umbrella on the beach, sipping cold margaritas. A voracious reader, she never goes anywhere without a book, but started looking for something more. Something hotter. A passion for erotic romance led to Nicole s creation of sizzling characters and boundary pushing stories. Now she lives in an incredible world where fantasy comes boldly to life. Well, until real life intrudes and she has to share the computer with the rest of the family. Sophie's Christmas Gargoyle by Katherine Kingston - During the holidays, Sophie has a gift shop that people flock to for interesting gifts. One evening, in a downpour, she notices a woman standing out at the corner. She spies someone standing in an alcove across the street, also watching the woman and she goes out to get her and bring her inside, which earns her the respect of the hooded figure across the street. Eventually he comes inside and introduces himself as Mark Devane. Eleanor is a battered wife, and Sophie and her assistant get her off to meet someone that can take her to a women's shelter where she will be safe. What happens between Mark and Sophie is amazing to watch. This is definitely a story with an HEA.

Winter Interlude by Regina Kammer - Patrick Hamilton is a First Lieutenant during the Revolutionary War in NY. His Captain is one Samuel Taylor. Both men are in love with a woman of the fairer sex, while yet at the same time, they find themselves wanting each other. At this stage of the time period, had they been found out together, they would have been killed. It is interesting to watch them head out of town, on a scouting mission with a whorehouse owner, to stay in the kitchen on a bed, with a young lady, together. The things that happened, I never would have thought could be done. Very interesting read.

Your One and Only by Nicole Austin - What happens when you have an important interview at an art gallery about your work and Murphy's Law strikes? When the last straw is your realizing you have taken a wrong turn somewhere and are lost and then your car breaks down, you start walking back the way you came. Getting sunburned, you stop with blisters on your feet, to rest under a shade tree. While waiting for a car to come by to flag down, you fall asleep.

I loved this book set. Each book was a short, quick, great read. There was historical M/M, Shifters, reunions, futurist, and much more. I love the collection and all the books worked together even though they were so different from the one before and the after. I have read other sets that Naughty Literati have put together and loved them as well. They do a great job. The sets are a great way to find a new author or series to fall in love with. I highly recommend this and their other box sets. Each story while fairly short has a way of pulling you in. Some of the books in this set I wished were longer and would have gladly read a full length book about the characters. I will definitely be looking up the author and seeing if there are other books with the characters in them. All the books are definitely steamy for sure. I hope you like the books as much as I did.
I was given this book in return for an honest review.

I love romance ebook anthologies. It's a great way to read new authors without spending a lot of money. A number of the authors in this set were new to me, and I enjoyed their stories, so I'll be checking out their other books. I especially liked Katherine Kingston's paranormal romance. I recommend this anthology to readers looking to read a variety of sexy romances!

Seven tales of romance ranging from historical to contemporary to futuristic to supernatural. The pairings are equally wide-ranging and can be any combination. Overall I would give the collection a 3.7 out of 5.

"Sophie's Christmas Gargoyle" by Katherine Kingston
(m/f) Abuse survivor Sophie and the mysterious Mark Devane meet up to protect Ellie from her abusive husband. After Ellie is driven to safety, Mark insists on staying around, afraid the angry man will retaliate. Gargoyles have always been favorites of mine, both in real life and in literature. I found the story very enjoyable. Although I did wonder what Sophie wrote on the slip of paper that she gave to the husband. I laughed when Mark got indignant about everyone immediately assuming that all shapeshifters are werewolves. Sophie's response was perfect. "Apparently werewolves have the best PR." 4 out of 5.

"Winter Interlude" by Regina Kammer
(m/m, m/f/m; m/f discussed) An American Revolutionary novelette. Captain Sam Taylor and First Lieutenant Patrick Hamilton had discovered that they had more in common than just fighting for the cause of freedom. Now, a year later, they discuss what happens in the future. Both men appear to be bisexual. Sam is with Clara, who Patrick had an affair with. Patrick is engaged to a former working girl who is currently pregnant. I'm more a fan of "one man/one woman" or "one man/one man" stories, so this was not my cup of tea. Erotic, with a touch of kink. While the writing is good, this is not my kind of story. 3 out of 5.

"Your One and Only" by Nicole Austin
(m/f) Hybrid Mates.
