About the Author
Tiana Laveen was born in Cincinnati, Ohio and now resides in Kentucky with her husband and two children. She enjoys a fulfilling and enriching life that includes writing books, drawing, painting, listening to music, cooking, and spending time with friends. Tiana Laveen is a uniquely creative and innovative author whose romance fiction is geared towards those who not only want to temporarily escape from the daily routines of life, but also delve into social taboo as it pertains to interracial relationships. Tiana creates a painting with words as she guides her reader into the lives of each and every main character. Her first book series entitled "Cross Climax" tackles interracial dating, marriage, and sexual relationships head on without any false bravado. "Cross Climax I" and "Cross Climax II" allow the reader to dive headfirst into short stories that are packed with seduction, romance, and heart-pounding punch. The two novels in conjunction lead to a surprising, but fulfilling conclusion. Her third novel, "The Slave Master’s Son," transports readers back to a time and place where interracial relationships were not accepted by the dominant society. The novel delivers a scintillating, historical account of one family’s struggles to deal with love, lust, and consequences. Her fourth novel, "The Naughty Sins of a Saint," tells the story of Dr. Saint Aknaten, a sex therapist and public speaker who preaches his controversial philosophy – that all non-Black men should pursue Black women. Along the way he finally meets his “queen.” All is good until those threatened by his ideologies take action to permanently stop him. Saint must confront both personal secrets and his nemeses if he is ever to live peacefully. If you wish to contact Tiana Laveen, please contact her at www.facebook.com/tianalaveen.

His desire for a black queen and to help other non black men to find theirs was his life's mission. When he met Xenia, he knew instantly that she was his queen and sought to make her his.
Tiana had to do a lot of research to write a fictitious story on the subject matter of inter racial relationships of non black men with black women. She did a wonderful job.
The Love Story
I'm new to the erotica romance genre, but most leave me feeling less in love and more screwed to be blunt. Tiana writes an intelligent love story that allows you to voyeuristically see the passion--yes, erotic hot passion; but the reader never doubts or forgets that Xenia and Saint are in love. I never felt that the sex superseded the love story. For me, that balance is important otherwise it is just porn.
Like a few other reviewers, I must caution you -- you must be open-mined about Saint's message otherwise it will get in the way of you enjoying the book. Men who deliberately seek out women outside of their culture, race or ethnicity might make women of the same race feel uncomfortable. The basic message is a good one - love doesn't see colors or religions.
In summary, this book was a great read and re-read. I recommend purchasing this book. Personally, I cannot wait for this author's next book.
Another thought - this book did not have the editing problems I have found in so many e-books of this genre. So, if that issue is driving you crazy like it does me, you will doubly enjoy this book. Good Reading!
