Editorial Reviews

Review

?. . . This book will appeal to anyone interested in naval operations whether professional or amateur. In illuminating significant events in the Mediterranean part of World War II, it is both informative and entertaining. . . . The book is clearly and briskly written.?-The Northern Mariner

?Koburger does an excellent job. He accomplishes this through a detailed discussion of not only the politics and importance of the eastern Mediterranean, but also the geography and the forces deployed within the theater of operations. This introduction, and several very appropriate maps of the area, serve the reader well.?-The Friday Review of Defense Literature
