About the Author
Meanwhile, Erin fell in love with llamas and with the books of Anne McCaffrey, whose Dragonriders of Pern series inspired her to become a writer. When she finally met Anne McCaffrey at a fantasy convention some two decades later, she wept uncontrollably throughout the entire affair. She does significantly better with llamas.
Together, they are Dragon Authors, writing science fiction and fantasy for teens and adults. Their short fiction has been published in the Hugo-nominated Andromeda Spaceways Inflight Magazine. The first volume of their newest series, Tales of the Wendy, was named by Goodreads as one of the hottest new YA series of 2018.
Fans of Tales of the Wendy describe their writing as "fresh, descriptive,""witty and clever," reminiscent of the "writing style of The Princess Bride," with twists that are "crazy and perfect."

But no worries. The Navigator is just great. I couldn't put it down, I haven't slept, I wanted to finish it.
It's full of action. The style is still witty. What I loved most is the slow change in capitain Hook's perception of Miss Darling, and of the reality (magic) itself.
What I have reserve for is the growing crew. There are more and more names added to the characters (even though some of them have already been introduced in The Wendy and Tigerlilja). The authors can't keep all of them distinguishable from one another with all the action. I still have confidence each will get their moment later in the series.
By the examples of Wendy, Hook and Peter Pan, I believe they'll deliver great character developments to the others too.
Putting this thought aside, the characters are likeable. I can picture them perfectly and want to know more about them. Argh, the next book is scheduled in too long a half year!
I must warn you, the story takes place in Neverland, not in England anymore.
And, spoiler alert, we learn a (retold) story about Hook's hand and the crocodile.
So full, rich... I want more.
This reimagining of Peter Pan is one of the best I’ve read, in the history of EVER and while I’m waiting with great anticipation for book 3, I’m also going to be broken hearted for it all to be over!!!
I want to crow about this book! I want to expound with elaborate detail, all of the juicy twists and fantastic exploits of this absolutely wonderful series... but what would be best would be for you to read them for yourself. Do it NOW! Neverland is waiting....
