Best of the bunch so far, tasty, oily, fresh, this is what Acai powder should look and taste like. Terrasoul and Sambazon cannot hold a candle to the quality here.

This seems very high quality to me vs the compeition. Can anyone speak to the darkness of the Acai as a testament to quality? All I know is it tastes better, the texture is better, and it looks better than the others.

Acai powder is clearly fresh as it's still slightly moist. I like that the packaging is easy to open and easy to reseal. Ultimately, I ended up storing all of my powders and superfoods in mason jars, but prior to that it was nice to have this packaging.
In case you're unfamiliar with the taste of acai, it's got a strong earthy undertone and a very deep purple color, but it's amazing at heightening berry flavors in smoothies. Also helps a lot at covering the taste of leafy greens in your smoothies. Plus acai berries contain antioxidants, fiber and heart-healthy fats. They have more antioxidant content than other commonly eaten berries. I don't think acai powder is a "must have" item, but if you're into boosting the healthy content of your smoothies, this is a nice addition.

There is something really off about this product

Others have already noted the obvious problems. But more importantly, there is no documented evidence that acai provides any health benefits whatsoever. You can find the usual snake oil sites promoting its use based on the premise that primitive people have used it for years (have you heard that one before?). And so? It doesn't seem to have done them much good. I threw it in the trash. The taste was nasty and it's not a powder and it doesn't blend. Will never buy a product from Navitas again.

I love that this product is just powdered, freeze-dried acai with no added sugar. Since it has no added sugar, it is a bit tart, and may be a bit of a surprise if you're used to the pre-made acai bowls at cafes. It still tastes great and I add to my smoothies and blended desserts. It's a great value.

I am a disappointed that the bag it comes in has a resealable zip bag which is a must for powdered, freeze-dried product like this to keep moisture out, however, it does not re-seal. I tried cleaning the zip area to remove as much of the powder as possible, but does not seem to make a difference. Not a deal breaker as I can put in my own air-tight container, but wish the original packaging was better.

Doesn’t blend in smoothies so you can forget about making a bowl. It’s like eating dirt. Not sure if there is any nutritional value left. Better to get the frozen puréed fruit. And as some others mentioned, the bag doesn’t seal which makes this a useless product.

Kind of a superfood junkie and have tried many, many brands. This one is at the top of my list. It pairs well in my morning smoothies, shakes, acai bowls and my favorite oatmeal. Aside from the taste and flavor I love the health benefits. If I’m in a rush I’ll grab a few caps that I’d filled with the capsule machine. The powder is a little sticky from the sugar content, but easy to fill the capsules. It also mixes well in my blended or shaken drinks.
Some of you who order powdered supplements and such may have experienced opening your product and finding weevils. I’ve never had that issue with this company or this product.

It's not a bad price for açaí, but the quality is not good. It is very, very grainy and tastes like coffee grounds. I have finally gotten through the whole bag by mixing it into smoothies and açaí bowls daily, but I won't purchase it again. The quality of the packaging is also not good...the resealable top broke off the 3rd time I opened it. So I just folded it and put it in a zip lock. I was not impressed.
