I am a delivery driver and often need a flashlight for tinkering on my car and finding things in the dark. Inevitabley every time I need a flashlight the batteries are dead or I can't find it. Not any more!!!!! I always know where it is(usually in my cigarette lighter), and never have to worry about the batteries being dead. It may seem small but I can read the addresses on houses from the street in total darkness without a problem.
It has 3 settings, On, Off and Recharge. When its recharging it glows a cool red.
It seems very durable and well built. I haven't really thrown it around to test though.
EXTRA: I found a contact for NEBO at firstname.lastname@example.org and have sent an email requesting assistance. I'll post an update if I get any response.
Nebo and more importantly Alliance Sports Group really stands behind their products. Thanks Mr. Krause for making this a positive experience. Alliance replacement my light now I am more fastideous in regards to its charging. Still a really handi-light. A must for every vehicle.
When you insert the light into the cigarette lighter (when it's in the charge position), the entire lens glows red to indicate charging (it continues to glow red even after it's fully charged). I purchased a black one, which blends in nicely with the dash to the point where you don't really even notice it's there.
This item is made in China, but it's very well made and well thought out. I drive an Infiniti SUV and it matches the high quality interior; it looks like it came from the factory!
Great little idea! Even though I already carry an LED flash light in the car, it will be nice to have one that is always fully charged when needed (thanks to the lighter).
The unit was black and from a dealer called "Built For Survival" via Amazon. The charging end was nice and had springs to fit the socket well. The unit appeared to charge with a red light showing from the end.
The unit does not light, not even once. I rocked the off-on-charge ring back and forth but it never turned on, not even once.
Totally unhappy with the supplier "Built For Survival" and suspect this was 'a return' since it didn't have the package displayed in the ad.

Very small pocket size powerful light. Wish it had come with instructions. Still not sure about recharging as one lights up while another does not on "charge" setting.Published 16 months ago by Dorothy -Milwaukee, Wi.
Purchased two of these kights. One defective out of the box and second wouldn't hold a charge after 30 days use, when it did work it put out a very dim unusable light. Read morePublished 17 months ago by Major Payne
