The popular breakout character from Borderlands is re-created here in this special limited-edition figure based on the blue variant seen in the original Borderlands game. Claptrap features poseable arms, a rolling wheel, a retractable drawer and antenna, and a base that resemble Pandora’s rocky/sandy grounds. Claptrap Blu14 features all new deco and is limited to this special edition one time production run.

But I'm docking a star for the very blatantly misleading description. Under "product dimensions", this is listed as being about 12" tall. Let me be very clear here (because the seller is not): the figure itself is about 4". The package is around 12". Either the seller is intentionally misleading people to try to justify the price (which honestly, is steep for something this size), or (s)he just failed to specify what the 12" height was describing. Either way, this really needs to be rectified. It's misleading to show a picture of a figure (sans packaging) and give product dimensions of 12" when the actual item shown in the picture is not nearly that tall.
So, if you're cool with paying this much for a 4"-5" figurine, then I'd say it's completely worth it. But don't be misled by the dimensions given in the listing.
I can tell however that I am sure if taken out of the package its cute little arms might not hold up to kids playing with it or the antenna to be honest. That is also why I think this should strictly be a show piece and shouldn't be given to children.
Overall, great figure and looks awesome sitting on my shelf.
SIZE - The figure is about 4 inches tall with the antenna down. With the antenna raised, it's about 6 inches tall. With arms raised straight up, it's about 7.5 inches tall. (All measurements include the base, which is about half an inch thick.)
FEATURES - The arms are articulated as the shoulder and elbow, but not at the wrist, which prevents certain poses. The "shoulder" door flaps are hinged, the antenna can be fully up or fully down (but not half way), the eye lens can be moved and the "eyebrow" flap is hinged, and the wheel spins and can be positioned in a limited arc (but cannot be turned to the side 90 degrees).
APPEARANCE - The figure is a very good representation of the in-game claptraps. This version is blue with a white racing stripe (as pictured) and the photo is a good representation. It has a "weathered/worn" finish (i.e., dirt around the wheel housing, chipped paint (intentionally, not a manufacturing flaw) and small dirt/mud/rust spots on the body, and so forth).
The base is a typical desert wasteland terrain motif (cracked tan ground with some lighter-colored rocks), and the claptrap attaches to it with a plastic piece that inserts into its lower back just above the wheel housing. From the front, the support isn't visible, but it's plainly visible from the sides and (obviously) from behind. The claptrap cannot stand on its own without being mounted to something.
My biggest critiques are the inability to turn the wheel 90 degrees, the lack of wrist joints, and how the figure is attached to the base because these limit the posing options. I also had some trouble with the piece used to attach the claptrap to the base, as it didn't want to go in the mounting hole at first (and being plastic, I was concerned about breaking it if I pushed too hard). But that having been said, it's still a great figure overall, and well worth buying if you're a Borderlands fan.
As I sit here Claptrap overlooks all from on high as he graces the top of my computer tower.
Yea, I know its not very practical, but it sure is cool
Overall its allot of fun and great for a Borderlands fan.
