I am sorry if other people had problems with their Neccos, but mine arrived in a shrink wrapped bag, surrounded by plastic air filled pockets, and they are NOT broken. I examined them carefully, and have eaten several packs, and so far not one broken wafer. That is better than when I buy one of the big rolls. I am very pleased, because this is the only place I can find Neccos anymore aside from having to pay $1 for one of the long packs. Nice, fresh, crispy wafers, just the way I remembered them.

I read some reviews where the bag they got was stale or broken into a million shards. I took a chance because I just missed being able to get them in the store. They are perfect! Not only are they whole, there’s an expiration date on the bag! Just what I was hoping to get and will absolutely order again!

Great price per pound, but you need to buy bulk. So, I'd rather have a great value and have some on hand for a time. This is not a candy where I think dry storage is an issue. The other offerings in Amazon for smaller quantities wanted outrageous prices (per oz.), I mean this is NECCO not Sees, and this retailer is the only one that seems to understand that.

very good product and this is and has been my very favorite candy.. Packaging is an issue as it was packed with items from OTHER ORDERs that will crush these without protection.. I have to order these by themselves on one day and not order anything else as they will be crushed to very very small pieces and not much fun to eat when their powder or VERY SMALL pieces..

Ok... this feedback is a little late in coming, but thought it might be worthwhile. This is my third 5 LB bag from this company and I'm usually pretty happy with the product and am amazed that they show up in a relatively unprotected padded bag and there is very little breakage... tough little suckers! But this time they were right at their expiration (no, no date on the package, so don't go looking for it)... most of the wafers were a bit chalky and they really ought to be crisp and crunchy. My kids feel the same way because they know the bag is in the cubbord and most of the mini-packs are still there!!! Anyway, if we ever run out, I'll let you know how the next bag is :0

Please with the packaging and contents. The wafers were not stale and less than 10% were broken - which is very tolerable given the type of packaging. I am certain that timing has a lot to do with whether they are stale and whether the packaging was at the top or the bottom of the box before shipping individual bags to consumer. I would order again. They are very handy for long drives in the car.
