Dr. Roger Covin is registered clinical psychologist and researcher. He operates a private practice in Montreal, Canada. Dr. Covin is originally from Nova Scotia, where he received a B.A. in Psychology at the University College of Cape Breton. He then received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in clinical psychology at the University of Western Ontario in London, Canada. Over the course of his university training and clinical career Dr. Covin has published a number of peer-reviewed articles and book chapters, as well as presented his research at numerous professional conferences. The Need to be Liked is his first book.

Dr. Roger Covin is a registered psychologist in private practice in Ottawa, Ontario. You can visit his website here: www.ottawapsychservices.ca

Born and raised in Nova Scotia, Dr. Covin earned a B.A. in Psychology from the University College of Cape Breton. He then received his M.A. and Ph.D. degrees in Clinical Psychology from the University of Western Ontario. Following a year of residency in Calgary, Alberta, Dr. Covin began working as a psychologist and researcher at University Hospital in London, Ontario. He eventually transitioned to private practice in order to focus more exclusively on clinical work.

To date, Dr. Covin has published a number of peer-reviewed journal articles and book chapters on various topics in the field of clinical psychology. The Need to be Liked is his first book.
