Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for the Nintendo Wii, tries to deliver a strong and extremely hard-hitting race to the finish, while avoiding the heat of the cops while trying to cross the finish line. You do have strong and challenging races to master against others in classic challenges like Hot Pursuit mode, and new challenging Rush Hour game, where you are competeing to race your way to the head of the pack, in a 100 car race to make it to the top. The graphics in the game though could've been a lot more to shine upon, and the control on the Wii Wheel, and the Nunchuck & Wii-mote could've been more, but the control handles better with the Classic Controller, or Nintendo's Gamecube controller. The sound of the game also could've shined more with fist-pumping jams and more feedback from the police, as you're trying to race. There also could've been more challenges to play with in the heat of the chase.
All in all, Need For Speed: Hot Pursuit for the Wii isn't a bad game, but it just could've been a bit more to race with. While I do like the game, I really was hoping there just was a bit more to master as you become the most wanted in game. While it isn't bad as a try for those whom have never played Need For Speed games on the P.C. or the video game systems, you really could've expected more heat. I really hope there is still is a better one down the road for Wii gamers, so can feel the chase a bit more to the extremes.

+ It has a Need for Speed logo on it. Only a valid reason if you want to complete your NFS collection, as I did...
+ The menu and the overal presentation is nice.
+ The music and sound effects are reasonably good.
- The graphics make you think you purchased a SuperNintendo 16Bit from 1994 instead of a Nintendo Wii from 2010. What happened here?
- The gameplay. If you thought Criterion, responsible for those great Burnout games, did a good job on this new NFS: Think again.
- The whole feeling of the game is that it's a quick port of the PC version. Which it probably is. Nintendo should forbid bad ports like this.
- Costs way too much. $50 for a quick port, meanwhile FlatOut is an exclusive Wii title for $20. Hmm...
- If you want NFS: HP, make sure you've got a heavy PC and purchase the PC version. Or X360. Or PS3. Not the Wii version.
Summary:
Deceived by it's marketing, i purchased NFS:HP for Wii :(
So if you're in doubt of purchasing NFS:HP, check the screens of the Wii version, read user reviews (not the press reviews!) and first check out similar games. If you're like me, you probably are more happier by purchasing FlatOut Wii. (where i wrote my second user review, ever:) )
