21 pages take you through how to do a paper-pieced block from the tools and fabric you will need to what the terms mean to actually doing a paper-pieced block. The 12 blocks include sewing notions and a big hatted girl. There is a section on how to embellish the blocks by adding buttons or embroidery stitching.
There are eight quilt patterns using these blocks from an actual quilt to wall hangings. Colored photos of the item are included with cutting and material lists. Directions for making the item are straight forward. A short bio about the author can be found on the last page.
If you like a sewing room theme and paper-piecing, this is a book you shouldn't pass up.
reflect my love for sewing and quilting. If you are included in that, if paper piecing is something you would like to challenge yourself in...take a peak here... The scissors, iron, needle and spools of threads can fit into any quilt design.
Paper piecing is here to stay as long as we keep getting designers and book publishers like this to keep coming up with lovely designs.
