I loved that the book was set in Oregon. We lived there for 6 years and I fell in love with the beauty of the area. While we only just visited the areas she mentioned, it brought back some very fond memories. What was the last book you read where you thought “I’ve been there!”? I’d love to have you comment and let me know.
I loved Milo and his nerdiness. Throughout the book he would try things to get Jill’s attention that he knew worked for guys in high school. He was the sweetest friend as well, and would have done just about anything for Jill, which is how he ended up on the reality show.

This is a cute YA romance with a lot of humor sprinkled in among the pages. Milo spends a lot of time trying out how to tell Jill about his feelings without losing her friendship while forced to participate in activities he really doesn't enjoy. Jill gains some needed self-confidence and learns she doesn't have to depend on Milo while finally realizing how she really feels about him. They're a perfect match!
This unique spin on a common theme was fun to read, although at times predictable. But for those of us who enjoy a heart-warming story of love discovered, it's a worthwhile read.
