Get the right size

I would have what I consider large hands. Not circus freak large, or basketball player large. That said, I ordered a large, and guess what? It was too small.
The fingers fit well, but the back of the glove and wrist strap were too tight, making the velcro come undone when I closed my hand to grip the arrow.
It does aid in accuracy and shooter endurance. Just wished I got the XL.
FYI, I have an 8" wrist and a 7 1/2" hand measuring from the tip of my middle finger to the bottom of my palm.

I suppose you can use that as your guide to getting the right glove.

Other than that, well constructed glove.

Not perfect, but not bad either

I'm an archery noob, so regard my review in that context. I purchased the Need glove based on reviews and aesthetics and am finding it to be an adequate glove with a few nitpicks. Let's start with those.

First up is sizing. I've got less than manly hands, so based on sizing info in the Amazon reviews, I purchased the large glove and feel like it might still be just a touch small. There's more tension on the strap than I'd like at draw. Which leads me to nitpick two.

Second is that when the strap draws tight, the fingers of the glove start to twist. This isn't an issue on some other gloves because the fingers are all one material. On the Neet, there's the leather for the finger contact and suede for the finger backs. When that starts to go askew, you notice it. It's a quick matter if readjusting the fingers, but it still irks me just a bit.

Third is that the leather fingers are quite stiff upon arrival. They start to break in after about 60 pulls. I'm sure that they'll get even softer over time.

I still like the look if the Neet glove, and it does the task. Plus, the price is nice. I'm giving it four stars for the overall value and the naturalistic aesthetic, but I wouldn't say it's the best glove out there.

Of course, I've only tried two, so I'm a bit of a poor judge.

Thick and Stiff ... but still a good deal

This glove is extremely stiff when you first get it. I had to soften it up quite a bit before I could actually shoot with this glove. I am about 6', female, with big man hands. I read the reviews and I was first inclined to order the large, but decided to order the XL after reading some of the more detailed reviews about measurements. I'm happy I ordered the XL. I didn't need the gerth so much as the length. The length between the tip of my middle finger and my wrist is about 8". This fit very comfortably in that aspect. I do have to pull the wrist strap quite a bit to fit snug around my wrist, leaving a big tab of excess Velcro strap dangling. I love the thickness of this glove. I didn't get it soft enough last time I went to the range and I struggled with shooting, and had to switch to a loaner glove that is much more thin. As a female I want delicate un-callused soft fingers and hands and for this reason I can appreciate the thickness of the gloves. I just need to work on making them more flexible without sacrificing my aim.

I just got into archer a couple of months ago, and after a few minutes of target practice, my fingers were killing me. I didn't stop even though it hurt like crazy and after a few hours I got a ton of blisters. So after that I decided to purchase these gloves. The material quality was pretty good, you can't expect too much from something that only costs $10; it was definitely good enough that it didn't feel cheap. What I didn't like about it was that the glove feels too rigid on my fingers. It makes it hard to bend my fingers and the glove itself didn't even reach my wrist, I purchased the large size and it still wasn't big enough.

the best shooting glove I have had so far

Finger pad leather way too thin

The leather is way to thin, soft and there is no extra padding, so it's exactly like wearing a regular leather glove. It's OK for a few shots, but the string begins to cut into the fingers after 5 draws. For very, very light draw weight at around 20+ pounds it's OK, so it'll be fine for children and smaller women, but at draws over 30 pounds this glove will not do its job properly, not even close.

The glove fit my fingers well. Don't be discouraged by the rigidity of the leather. As you use it, the sweat and heat from your hands will mold it to your fingers the more you shoot. I think mine is perfect after three sessions of shooting with it! The elastic strip that goes down the palm of the hand could be a little longer, but it does not effect the shooting.

A glove that every archer should have and to know how to use

I have done a lot of archery and as far as I know the shooting glove or what I have know it as the finger guard has been my best friend when it comes to protecting my fingers from the rough strength of the bow string every time I shoot the arrow through it .Now today there are a lot of people who use this bowstring release when using the bow for target shooting or hunting, yet I personally do not take much stock in that, what I mean is what if the release device is lost or broken what then? To me there are two choices have this glove with you as a back-up or learn how to shoot with this glove, call me old fashion yet I prefer to use this glove anytime.
