What u get, 1. A sturdy 2 piece center column, that can be extended at any angle horizontally, mounted to the 3/8 screw on you Tripod. 2. A second shorty column if you need a center column to hang it from, but REALLY IT SCREWS ONTO THE FIRST PIECE OFFERING A FULL LENGTH COLUMN, w/ better rigidity. 3. The attaching joint is a Rosetta grip style. {There are teeth that allow for a solid tightening of the adjustment screw, : that allows rotation and allows tilts angles.}. 3. The center column is rock solid, slightly smaller than my Induro, but I hung 12 lbs of Camera and Full Remote Pwrd Wireless Gimbal, {With FollowFocus & Aperture, motors}, and although the mount is HD FIBER PLASTIC, it holds strong. IF I WERE TO NEED TO HAND MY RED DRAGON UNIT, I’m thinking I might feel a little concerned about cranking down on that piece, aside from that 1 thing, I’d say based on Neewers reputation it’s a solid AA++ for this price , in fact it’s 5 stars, I withheld 1, only as I believe for slightly more the mount could’ve been metal. The rest deals with filmmakers-
I use this for an extension arm to hang a DJI RONIN M, Pwrd Gimbal for filmmaking. It is definitely 100% strong enough for any photo purposes (I know of), macro, Low Angle, inverted, etc., and moreover to spend $ on another tripod that does this I suggest a diff option. Admittedly, I can make equip choice w/out worrying about cost, {sometimes}, however, a pet peeve is overpriced common gear like tripods. At any rate I needed an all in one. Tri, Linear Jib, Shrt Crane, which led me to my CF Tri purchase. Which really doesn’t do any of it. By leaving the center column in, {WITH THIS DEVICE, FROM NEEWER A CO IVE BEEN DEALING WITH FOR YEARS AND ACTUALLY THEYRE A BRAND NAME, OFF SHOOT}. So if your looking for a great way to hang your Ronin M, in normal filming mode - because inverted even though the gimbal will rotate in all directions that way, it becomes inverted shooting upside down. So I hung it from a camvate robin m plate, and a bogey 3 way adjust head w/ a thumb screw. Happy filming it works phenomenal .

Secondly, it doesn't do a very good job of clamping down. My camera is very light, and I'm using the small Neewer head, but the arm clamp just doesn't want to tighten enough to keep it in place. It's acceptable, but not enough t earn more then 3 stars.
Cons: 1) Wish it were longer; 2) Could have graduated engagement for greater adjustment control; 3) Would have appreciated some instructions.

More importantly- they call this item "professional" on the box. This is NOT pro level gear. If this quality level is considered their "professional" tier, I wouldn't want to ever see their consumer tier. If they would just be honest about this item I would have given it 5-stars as a decent entry-level option, but if they are claiming this is pro level gear then it gets reviewed as such, and gets 2-stars.
