This backpack is great how ever the only reason that it didn't get the 5 stars is that the sternum strap is super small. I'm an athletic 6'0" so buyer be advised that if you plan on using the strap it will be useless if you work out and have a chest. Plenty of storage options however the waterproof capabilities remain to be see. All in all I looked at a Maxpedition version and settled on this. I'm glad I did for the low price you can not beat it.

So I know what quality looks like. Although this bag doesnt merit 5 starts when compared to what it could be, it gets all 5 from me because of its value. The value for this bag is insane!!! Its not 1050 ballistic Nylon like the Falcon II, and its not water retardant, but its also not $140. for 20 bucks this bag is a god send. I bought it as a gift and I wanted to keep it for myself. some of the things I did not like was the stitching on the inside of the bag was not tied off properly and there was a lot of extra string hanging about, but again 20 bucks, I tied the knots and singed the rest to make sure it wouldnt come undone, and I replaced the ties with paracord. That was it. and this bag rocks. I would totally recommend this to a friend that didnt want to spend 140, or even 60 bucks. For 20 dollars this bag deserves 6 stars. Oh and I ran into someone with this bag in OD, after a quick chat I asked them how long they had theirs for and they said 3 months of hard use and it was still going strong, (he was riding his bicycle- which it looked like he did a lot) so I'm confident this thing will hold up well.

I purchased this Pack for a trip from Green Bay, Wi to Magnolia Springs, Al. I didn't want to deal with luggage at the airports so I bought this pack hoping that it would be large enough for me to pack enough for a week (planned on washing a small load of clothes). Other reviewers have complained about "loose threads" and "un-tight" seams. My pack had no seam issues and a couple of thread ends that hadn't been trimmed but a quick snip with a scissors and done. I packed one pair of jeans, one pair of flannel lounge pants, five tee shirts, five pair of socks, five pair of boxers, toothbrush, deodorant, toothpaste, medications (had open heart surgery last Nov), camera, small hair brush, electric razor with charging stand, earbuds, eyeglasses and and ipad. I've included pics of the pack fully packed. The tape measure case adds three inches to the measurements. Fully packed the pack measured 17" tall, 12" wide, 11.5 inches from front to back and weighed 16.4 pounds. I took a total of five flights and it fit in the overhead on all of them. I was able to grab the pack and go while others had to wait because their "carry on's" were too large. I was very happy with the pack. The only issue I had was slippage with the strap buckles occasionally but that was easily solved by adjusting the strap and then doubling the strap end back through the buckle. For the price this pack would be hard to beat. Would it hold up to a serious day to day beating? I can't say but for my occasional travels and around town uses I'm sure it is going to serve me well.

EDIT: I found what this bag actually is. It's a Free Soldier brand Attack Backpack model, the large one I believe. I think it's real, so a great value, assuming they are real, and assuming they become available at the ~20$ price I had again.

I spent around 2 weeks searching for a pack that was durable, comfortable, and adjustable. Decided on this bag, and glad I did.

This is a great pack, with a lot of room for adjustment. Although this pack can fit a 6 pack, my laptop, chargers and all, I can adjust it down to a small, sleek pack, to fit just what I need. If I need to carry way more than normal, I just let out the straps and its just as comfortable. I've put this thing through some heavy use for the past month, over packing, a complete submerging, and it's handled great, I have no doubt it will last at least a year.

It's a nice bonus that it looks great. I get comments at least a few times a week, and considering I only paid 20$ for the bag I'm very happy. A great choice for anyone looking for a durable utility bag.

EDIT: I'll also note I gave this bag only four stars because after a few days of using it without it adjusted correctly, I noticed some wear damage on one of the back straps. Probably my fault, but make sure you adjust this bag symmetrically and let out a little for heavy loads.

For the price I was not expecting much, but it seems made as well as the really expensive bags. The buckles and straps seem pretty standard, good quality materials sewn well, strong. I havent tested the waterproof claim yet, but I am happy for the price.

Now this backpack is essential for hiking, road trips, vacations or plain ol daily use. Had a camel bak that I used for years and in still great shape but it didnt have much storage and the backpack had good weight to it even when empty. This bag on the other hand is light yet durable, Stitching has held up so far but it could have been done a bit better. It will last if treated with care. zippers are loud but doesnt bother me much.

Went on a vacation to Hawaii to visit my sister and nephews for 7 days.

I packed as follows (it folded correctly you can store alot):

Large Compartment- 1 pair of jeans, 3 shorts, 1 swimming shorts, 5 underwear, 3 pairs of socks, 3 tanks and 3 shirts and my macbook 13" in between my shirts

Medium compartment- travel pillows, beats headphones, large chips with air removed and other snacks

Small compartment- toothbrush, deoderant, lotion, allergy meds, external HDD, usb cables and other cables and small first aid kit for our hikes

XSmall compartment- (2) Gopro, 2 back doors, 5 batteries and SD cards
