2.If your device could not provide enough power(when used with Amplifier or Mixer, etc.), the sound volume recorded might be low, and please use a extra 48V phantom power adapter to connect it.(phantom power adapter is not included).
3.The microphone can not be used with mobile phone and tablet computer. NOTE: It cannot work with Mac.
4.If you want better sound effect, a sound card should be used.
5.When recording, please put the microphone away from the amplifier to prevent recording noise due to amplifier.

There is a good amount of static, crackling if you turn the gain past 16.
Kind of heavy.
The cable, circuit board, are generic.

I had purchased the NW-700 for 10$ on eBay previously. This is much better. So, after about a year, the nw-700's XLR cable broke, (Why did I buy an entirely new microphone? Because at the time I had thought that the mic itself was broken.) So, I bought this. It was a fight over this and the NW-1500. I chose this cause it had (at the time of writing) it had a half star more and was Amazon's Choice. The sound is more Crisp and clear than the NW-700, and it sounds less Walkie-Talkie like. (Also, if I get the right angle, it passes as an audio-technica.) The new top has a larger receiving pattern, and is FLIPPING GOLD!! (rage party lol 😄) It needs 48v Phantom Power Supply, which I don't think they stress enough. Without phantom power, it's basically a 20$ paperweight that will hear you if you scream. I don't want to crush your Audiophile dreams or anything, but inside is a small metal frame, and a cheap printed board. Anyways, this is a good mic (Note that I said "Good") but, it's a $20 mic, and it doesn't deserve five stars. (That's reserved for Behringer and Shure mic's.)By PhxBlue on April 25, 2017
