Awesome band that should off been huge with a sleezy/hard rock attitude and every song is totally cool!!! Think a cross between AC/DC, Dangerous Toys/Junkyard and you get the picture! !!! Everyone who listened to this album always has a smile on their face and comments with a awesome dude!!!!!

these guys should of made it big but didnt for some reson.all songs are great 80s early 90s rock and roll.the singer was from a band from the eary 80s called tokyo blabe if you have a chance check them out as well neighborhood threat is a top notch record every band member plays great buy it buy it

Good, solid debut from Johnny Crash

Johnny Crash were another hard rock band that had all the things necessary to become household names in the late 1980's and early 1990's. However, like so many deserving melodic rock bands of the day, they were kicked to the curb and long forgotten.

Many people, for whatever reason, herald these guys as an AC/DC clone. I never really got the comparison to be honest. Yeah, they rock hard and fast like AC/DC, but they really add more blues and melody than your standard AC/DC record. While "Neighbourhood Threat" is a pretty solid debut album, I prefer the follow-up record that was just recently re-released through Suncity Records, but was originally recorded in 1992. My favorite tracks from this album are "Hey Kid," "All The Way In Love," "Halfway To Heaven" and "Freedom Road."

Johnny Crash are simply a cool band that every hard rock fan should know about. The problem is, their records are ridiculously priced and almost as hard to find. If you can find either this, or the follow-up record "Unfinished Business," I suggest you pick em' up. They're definitely worth a listen.

Axe Kicking !!!

One of the best listens that Ive had in a long time. This lp is nothing less than straight forward in your face not thrills rock n roll and it kicks ass big time! Where has this one been hiding? I will make note this is not glam nor hair. This is more along the lines of Junkyard meets Dirty Looks. Slip on your holy jeans old t-shirt and boots and grab a few beers and maybe a jack and coke and your on your way to some of the best rocking that youve had in a while.

This is definetely a guaranteed sleeper gotta have !

Anybody that still likes that 80's glam bands will like Johnny Crash. The original cd is very hard to find but here is the good news. They plan to re-release their only album Neighborhood Threat and finally release a second album that was recorded back in 1992? that was never released due to possible legal action from Axel Rose since a couple of ex Guns & Roses members appear on the Album. Last I heard was that both CD's should be available sometime in December 2007.

great runchy rock n' roll

It's a good mix between L.A. Guns, Dangerous Toys and all those 80's glam rock bands. They just had the bad luck to release their album in a time where all the glam bands where getting signed. So they were one out tons of the same kind of band, but still very good.
