The only thing I didn't like about it was that the on/off seemed backwards to me. You pull back to start the flow and push forward to stop. Also, it is heavy, but at least I don't have to worry about it falling apart like the plastic ones.
Update--Dec 27,2009 - I've now used 2 of these all summer and fall and am still sold. They're great. I was able to reverse the on/off lever by removing the screws and switching the handle to the reverse side of the nozzle as stated in some of the comments and soon found out why it's the way it is. When the nozzle is on the ground, it's very tempting to pick it up using the on/off lever. When the forward position is the OFF position, it's not a problem. When it's reversed and you pick up the nozzle, the handle moves forward (to ON) because of the weight of the hose and you end up getting soaked. It's happened a couple of times to me, so I switched it back to the way it came. I guess they DID know what they were doing.
Update: April 2011. We have now turned the water on for the summer and attached my "fireman's hose nozzle" to hoses on front porch and back deck. Keeps the pollen off daily and any other problems. My son just left after washing bird droppings off his car. Don't buy black cars. I think this is our third summer with these nozzles and I still have two hidden away. I did add new O-rings.Read more ›
