On my collage, the before is on the left (for 2 years my hair was getting thinner and thinner till I started taking these). I mainly have an issue on the upper part of my hair due to my DHT but I had lost all my bottom hair too :( (as you can see in the pics on the left esp the top one which was the worst stage my hair has ever been).This works for hair growth if your hair is 'stuck' and wont grow, except if its malabsorption then youd have to check your insulin resistance (as far as I know diabetes causes hair loss too) or if its thyroid issues. Okay so i always had thick long hair, coarse hair mixed with thin hairs (hereditary) due to my androgens (again hereditary). Once I turned 29 I started noticing my hair changing again and becoming more coarse and it stopped growing long, only 2-3" long around the top part and in the back of the head and esp on my right side where my ovaries are crazier. DHT is a *itch. I tried EVERYTHING to block DHT and nothing really worked, cuz its just a genetic thing, my mom has it too (they call her "sir" on the phone lol) and comes with other things caused by androgens, deeper voice, acne, hairiness, muscular development, being a female trucker lol. So I started taking these and I finally saw longer strands of hair especially all my middle and bottom hair finally grew long, the old hair stopped falling. The top part id harder to grow, but I've seen improvement there too. I decided to stop fighting DHT and just boost my collagen intake. I take 3 per day with raw milk or water, and I also try to eat tomatoes cuz they say they block DHT the best, and I see that whole ritual working right now. Also I am taking the collagen tablets that dont have biotin listed because Ive seen the same brand containing biotin which actually causes more hair loss for me.

I had to start looking at vitamin c and d bone strengthening solutions after starting the birth control shot Depo Provera. For those who don't know, studies have shown a decrease in bone density for women choosing to take it. One of my friends suggested collagen, especially because I was looking for hair, skin and nails vitamins as well. Why take a whole bunch of seperate pills when one can do ALL of those things?

I looked over different brands, and prices, and this one seemed to be the most beneficial and cost efficient one. I know 16 bucks for a pillbottle could seem a bit steep, but for 250 pills and a LOAD of goodies, I say it's actually the cheapest solution you'll find. And the best one.

I can't say much about how my bones feel - the purpose of being on these vitamins for Depo Provera uses is to prevent bone loss, so those kind of results show up later in time. BUt it's working out well in just about everything else. My skin cleared up over time, and without me seeing a skin doctor at all. My left knee is still sensitive from the ligaments being torn back in high school, and it tends to get pretty sore when it rains. But not so much while i'm using these pills. In fact, my knee feels even stronger.

As for the hair and nails part, yes, i saw a big difference there too. Because i'm a guitarist, I personally can't stand having long nails. so i always have to cut them. I seriously had to cut my nails practically every day. My hair showed growth through the roots, since I color it. So clearly, even if I couldn't feel any changed in my bones, everything else definitely showed it was working.

I ran out a few months ago, and some of those results have continued, like nail and hair growth. It's not as strong as it would be if I took the pills again (my next bottle is already on its way), but just the fact it's continued working for this long after i'd stop taking them shows the effect that it has on your system. Other things weren't affected the same way, however. My skin returned to 'normal', and started breaking out again. And my knee started getting sore when it rained again. But all those things are to be expected when you stop taking this kind of pill

Overall, very satisfied. Can't wait for my new bottle to get here!

I dislike writing reviews, not only is it time consuming, but I believe most people are as skeptical about amazon reviews as I am. I am not recommending this product, nor advising anyone to do what I am without proper medical advice, or claiming neocell had everything to do with my results.

I started my first bottle about six weeks into radiation therapy to the jaw. I couldn't eat and lost a nearly 25 pounds in less than a few weeks. My skin sagged, my face actually dropped; appeared deformed. I literally had a turkey neck. The radiation caused a large burn scar to the treated area and my skin was cracking, chaffing. These are usual reactions. After taking neocell for about a week a started to notice positive changes to the texture of my skin. Chaffing decreased and the skin over my entire body looked and felt smoother and hydrated. After a few more weeks, beyond the end of the treatment, my skin became tauter, moist, and the sagging began to disappear especially in my face. I look entirely better. Not like post treatment, but better. My doctor was impressed how my skin was healing and improving.

I recently finished my first bottle. My skin is now rejuvenated, firmer, glowing, hydrated and moist, even without lotions. The burn scar has greatly diminished and peach fuzz is appearing. My turkey neck is almost gone! I always suffered extremely dry, layered cracked and calloused skin on my left foot. It seemed incurable. Now my foot looks as if I just had a professional pedicure. I haven't soaked or scaled the foot in months. My eyelashes and brows are fuller, darker and reappearing on the lower lid after over 20 years. I've grown to appreciate how the new mini, post cancer version of me is unfolding.
