Now we have Paul Craig Roberts to add to the list of the few (i.e.---John Pilger, Eduardo Galeano, Julian Assange, Norman Finkelstein, etc.), truly principled human beings who have the courage and dignity, logic and reason, to defy "Washington's lies," with the "Truth," and nothing but the truth! Dr. Roberts is not some phony, unreliable, unknowing "run-of-the-mill" observer; to be conveniently explained-away; as a nut job, looney, misinformed, and delusional "conspiracy theorist" (which is a label applied to anyone that does not agree with Washington's totalitarian view/version of anything it says or proclaims through its compliant mass-media outlets).This is someone who is not only sane and sound of mind (a rare feat for someone of his caliber and distinguished background, as a former insider; who can easily be "bought and paid for"), but was a former Assistant Secretary of the Treasury for Economic Policy under the Reagan administration, was a columnist and editor for the Wall Street Journal, Business Week, and Scripps Howard News Service, university professorships (George Mason University, Georgetown University), former fellow at Cato, Hoover Institution, etc., etc., and has received numerous awards and recognition from his professional peers the world over. So, this is not someone that the "neocons" in Washington, the Industrial-Military Complex, the Ministers of Propaganda in the Media, etc., etc., can easily mischaracterize and write off as crazy (though, try as they certainly will)!! This book, The Neoconservative Threat to World Order: Washington's Perilous War for Hegemony (from 2015), should be read by every conscionable and truly patriotic and free-loving American, and by all concerned individuals in the entire globe. I especially urge our European and Russian brothers and sisters to read and become acquainted with the truly demoniacal and evil aims of Washington and the "ruling elite" that Dr. Roberts has set forth in this book and, washed clean of the codified Orwellian doubletalk/newspeak that the sociopaths who rule the United States and the world for that matter; have spelled out in their foreign and domestic policies. All of which, since before the start of the 21st Century, constitutes a plot and conspiracy against the people of the world; not seen or heard since possibly when the Roman Catholic Church and its Empire similarly did in Europe of the 13th Century.
But, who better to explain than Paul Craig Roberts himself, here are some excerpts that I found to be of significant importance.
From page 74,
"The self-inflicted hammer blows to Washington's credibility have taken a toll. The most serious blow of all is the dawning realization everywhere that Washington's crackpot conspiracy theory of 9/11 is false. Large numbers of independent experts as well as more than one hundred first responders have contradicted every aspect of Washington's absurd conspiracy theory. No aware person believes that a few Saudi Arabians, who could not fly airplanes, operating without help from any intelligence agency, outwitted the entire National Security State, not only all 16 US intelligence agencies but also all intelligence agencies of NATO and Israel as well. Nothing worked on 9/11. Airport security failed four times in one hour, more failures in one hour than have occurred during the preceding 116,232 hours of the 21st century combined. For the first time in history the US Air Force could not get interceptor fighters off the ground and into the sky. For the first time in history Air Traffic Control lost airliners for up to one hour and did not report it. For the first time in history low-temperature, short-lived fires on a few floors caused massive steel structures to weaken and collapse at essentially free fall acceleration."

"Washington and its British vassal had no choice but to allege, without any proof whatsoever as always, that the election was unfair and unfree. When Washington puts out massive propaganda about how everyone in Syria wants to overthrow "a dictator" and then the people re-elect "the dictator" by 88.7% of the vote, Washington's propaganda is exposed."

"After days of placing hostile blame for the downing of the Malaysian airliner on Russia, the White House permitted US intelligence officials to tell reporters that there is no evidence of the Russian government's involvement. Obviously, the US satellite photos do not support the Obama regime's lies. If the White House has any evidence of Russian complicity, it would have released it to great fanfare days ago. We are fortunate that the analytical side of the CIA, in contrast with the black ops side, retains analysts with integrity even after the purge of the agency ordered by Dick Cheney. Incensed that the CIA did not immediately fall in line with all of the Bush regime's war lies, Cheney had the agency purged. The black ops side of the agency is a different story. Many believe that it should be defunded and abolished as this part of the CIA operates in violation of statutory US law."

"It is my opinion that the irresponsibility and recklessness of the Obama regime is without precedent. Never before has the United States government or the government of any nuclear power gone to such great efforts to convince another nuclear power that that power was being set up for attack. It is difficult to imagine a more provocative act that more endangers life on earth. Indeed, the White House Fool has doubled up, convincing both Russia and China that Washington is planning a preemptive first strike on both. Republicans want to sue or to impeach Obama over relatively inconsequential issues, such as ObamaCare. Why don't Republicans want to impeach Obama over such a critical issue as subjecting the world to the risk of nuclear Armageddon? The answer is that the Republicans are as crazed as the Democrats. Their leaders, such as John McCain and Lindsey Graham, are determined that "we stand up to the Russians!" Wherever one looks in American politics one sees crazed people, psychopaths and sociopaths who should not be in political office."

"The arrogance of Washington wallowing in hubris as "the indispensable nation" has provoked Moscow to the point that Russia has now more deployed nuclear weapons than the US. As a result of Washington breaking its word and putting ABM missile bases on Russia's border, Russia has developed supersonic ICBM's that can rapidly change their trajectory and cannot be shot down by any missile defense system. Of course, the US corporations making billions of dollars selling Washington a useless ABM system will deny this. Moreover, those countries, such as Poland, whose governments are sufficiently stupid to accept US ABM bases, would be obliterated before the bases could function. The utter stupidity of Eastern Europe's bought-and-paid-for governments to put trust in Washington is likely to be the main cause of WWIII. The happy participant in the new Armageddon is the American military/security complex. These greedy "private corporations" whose revenues are entirely public funds are guaranteed more money regardless of the potential cost in human life."

The CIA's Torture Program:
"UPDATE: Congress fails to hold executive branch accountable for its massive violations of human rights as documented in the released summary of the CIA Torture Report, but passes sanctions on Venezuela for "human rights violations." Readers have asked for my take on the CIA torture report. There is so much information and commentary available that it is unnecessary. Igor Volsky provides a concise summary. President George W. Bush signed off on torture and then told the gullible people that "this government does not torture people." According to the Senate Intelligence Committee's report, the torture was horrific. The CIA even tortured its own informers. Two American psychologists who designed the torture program were paid $81 million. CIA torturers received cash awards for "consistently superior work" when their innocent victims died. The US government involved 54 countries in its torture program. The rendition program sent detainees to other countries where they were tortured in secret "black sites." Obama tortures also. Those Americans who committed crimes as horrific as any in history have been given a pass by Obama. No accountability for their crimes. This finishes off the rule of law in America, which was already on life support. CIA Torture Report Sparks Worldwide Condemnation: Even Nations That Participated Were Shocked How Far It Went.
And further on;
"CIA destroyed evidence of its crimes."

"Instead of apologizing for the CIA's destruction of our country's reputation, CIA director John Brennan defended the policy and claimed it helped to protect us from terrorists. The CIA fought for months to block even the release of the truncated and redacted report that made it to the public. Have a look at Brennan. He looks like and is more dangerous than a Nazi. Just google CIA torture report and you will find much to read, including justifications of the torture program by neoconservatives, Republican members of the House and Senate, Dick Cheney, the presstitude media, and a large number of others."
"Here's my two cents: One purpose of the torture program was to produce self-incriminated "terrorists" to justify and feed the hoax "war on terror." The "war on terror" was public cover for secret agendas that the American people would have rejected. This is disturbing enough. Even more disturbing, the torture program shows that no one in the US and European governments who knew of the program and participated in torture has an ounce of humanity, integrity, compassion, and morality. They are evil people, and the ones who inflicted the torture enjoyed the pain and suffering that they inflicted on others."
From page 334,
"A democracy without an honest media cannot exist. In America democracy is a façade behind which operates every evil inclination of mankind. During the past 14 years the American people have supported governments that have invaded, bombed, or droned seven countries, killing, maiming, and displacing millions of people for no reason other than profit and hegemonic power. There is scant sign that this has caused very many Americans sleepless nights or a bad conscience. When Washington is not bombing and killing, it is plotting to overthrow reformist governments, such as the Honduran government Obama overthrew, and the Venezuelan, Bolivian, Ecuadoran, and Argentine governments that the Obama regime is currently trying to overthrow. And, also, of course the democratically elected government in Ukraine that has been supplanted by Washington's coup."
And in the last paragraph on the same page;
"In the event you have forgotten the efficiency of the Russian military, remember the fate of the American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian Army that Washington sicced on South Ossetia. The Georgian invasion of South Ossetia resulted in the deaths of Russian peace-keeping soldiers and Russian citizens. The Russian military intervened, and the American and Israeli trained and equipped Georgian Army collapsed in five hours. All of Georgia was back in Russian hands, but the Russians withdrew and left the former province of Russia independent, despite the lies from Washington that Putin intends to restore the Soviet Empire. The only correct conclusion that any American can make is that every statement of the US government and its presstitude media is a blatant lie designed to serve a secret agenda that the American people would not support if they knew of its existence. Whenever Washington and its whore media speak, they lie."
I'll leave it there. Thank-you Dr. Roberts for your courage and spirit in the true American sense (as spelled out by the "Bill of Rights" to the US Constitution), and I hope God grants you further more years that you may enrich many more souls with your wisdom and expertize. You truly are a "brother in Christ" (and I mean that in a wholly spiritual sense). I encourage everyone who reads this review to please read this and other books by Paul Craig Roberts.
