I ordered these to personalize for my dad on Father’s Day. They are sturdy, sharpen easily, and work exactly like you’d want them too. They were easy enough to engrave with a dremel but not so soft that it ‘cut like butter’; which is good because you want a harder wooden pencil so it won’t easily break. The following week I saw he had placed them in his garage directly beneath his saw so I’d say it was a very well-received gift. I’m thankful to have found them here because I couldn’t find plain, well-made carpentry pencils at any hardware or home improvement store in my area (which seems bizarre, I know, but it’s true).
