Directions

Shake well before using. Prepare for one application only. Do not store diluted fertilizer. (House Plants): Use 1 tablespoon per gallon of water. Feed every 2-3 weeks. Do not over water. (Outdoor Plants): Use 1/8 Cup (1 fl. Oz.- 1:128) per gallon of water. Feed vegetables, flowers, trees and shrubs every 2-3 weeks. Garden Lifesaver...

This is my go to fertilizer for my organic vegetable garden. I plant many different vegetables, but my main crop is Open Pollinated and Heirloom tomatoes. I grow them from seed, so by the time they hit the garden I have at least 3 months invested in them, so I only want to use what I believe will be the most gentle and beneficial fertilizer for them. I believe Neptunes Harvest is all that and more.
A few years ago I grew a dwarf variety of cherry tomato that I planted in hanging baskets. They had been getting leggy, so I panicked and potted them into those baskets using to much of my soiless mix and not enough potting mix. While this helped the plants in the beginning, it was a year of aphid infestation, and those baskets got hit hard. My poor plants were sucked almost into oblivion by those bugs, and the less than ideal soil was no help. Somebody suggested fish emulsion, and Neptunes Harvest was what I found...and used. Within 2 weeks those sad plants had new leaves and flower buds and turned from sick yellow to lush green. I harvested right until a hard freeze from them. A happy ending from a hard beginning.
I now use this fertilizer to keep my plants peppy and happy. And it works as a foliar spray as well.
Its always part of my garden regime now...I even ask for it for my Birthday. It is a wonderful product.

Best organic based fertilizer for seedlings

I like this product for getting seedlings off to a strong start. With the kelp extract it does a great job as an organic based alternative to keeping the seedlings growing strong. The fact that shipping was free is too good to pass up as well. This product cannot only be used for seedlings but for foliar feedlings or as an fertilization program with waterings of all your plants. It does have the usual fish smell but is not as strong as some other fish emulsions I have used and the smell does go away fairly quickly.

Great Organic Fertilizer!

This stuff is awesome! We've been using it for two years and our gardens have never been better. The only issue is that the odor is strong after applying it and it attracts flies (and our dogs). Once it dries though it's not a problem. Great stuff for the organic gardener!

BEST Garden Fertilizer

5 Stars is not enough for this garden performer. I ran out and bought a fish fertilizer from the big box hardware store. The results were mixed and not too bad. However, once I received my Neptune's Harvest fish & seaweed fertilizer the plants took off, the deep rich glossy leaves appeared on all my veggies, fruits, berries, etc... I am also noticing that my ornamentals are greatly benefiting from the NH when I empty my sprayer, they too are taking on a rich green leaf structure with tons of new growth.

I use a Hudson sprayer to do a leaf soak once a week using only NH. I never plan to run out its now my go to purchase for a liquid fertilizer when I order my seed for the garden!

Easy to use, smell not a problem

I first encountered this stuff on a hot day in a large tropical greenhouse, right after several gallons had been sprayed all over. The reek was pretty intense. Results were impressive, though, so I bought a gallon. Turns out that in normal home or small-greenhouse use, the aroma dissipates in minutes. Since it's easy to mix and use, it's become my primary fertilizer for bonsai, starter magnolia seedlings, and other valuable potted plants.

My go to plant product - Will never be without it

I am a repeat buyer on this product. I honestly was amazed at how fast my plants looked better. I put a small amount of this in my watering can (mixed with water) whenever a plant looks like it could use a healthy snack and this never fails to do the trick. I like it because I can use on everything growing in the yard as well as my houseplants. I do refrain from using the full dose in the house, yet still get healthy green plants. I highly recommend this product. An added bonus is that I don't normally fertilizer the native plants, yet if this comes in contact with one, even those seem to enjoy it.
