Like most Nerf blasters this is a fun blaster. It lets loose a hail of foam darts in just a few seconds. Unlike the other blasters that are primed with a spring-plunger mechanism, this blaster is much like a Supersoaker. A bladder is filled with air via a pump and the pull on the trigger lets the darts fly. A nice feature is that it does fit all the different types of darts Nerf makes. And this being at least third generation (I know that there was a Dart Tag version and the Iron Man version) there are some out there used.
I like this blaster, its a kick letting the 10 darts it holds fly at some unsuspecting target.
Rapid fire - this gun launches a rapid stream of 10 bullets at your target. I also figured out that if you press the trigger and then let go, you can fire 2 or so at a time. the longer you hold it, the more it fires.
Magazine - the magazine is a very great part of this gun. Unfortunately, this is the only gun that uses it. it allows you to put 10 bullets in it and store it if you don't need it immediately. You can also clip it on your belt.
Reload time - By the time you have collected 10 bullets and pumped it 22 - 32 times, you'd be shot about 20 times by someone else with a pump loading gun like the clip system guns.
Well, that's about it. I hope you consider this gun. Please note this is NOT a good 1st nerf gun. If your looking for a 1st nerf gun, try the Recon/Longshot if your budget is bigger, and Maverick/NightFinder if your budget is tight. Happy Nerfing!!!
