Top Customer Reviews
Overall, the gun is easy to load, cock, and shoot. It shoots well and will make you feel like you have great aim, even when it's not that good, because it will go in a straight line when you shoot it for a very long distance.
My kids love chasing pellets when my husband shoots his large Nerf gun. Our little guy was begging for his own blaster for his 4th birthday. I got him this one, hoping that the small size would be easier for him to load and to shoot. While the size is fine for his little hands, the mechanism to load it is still a little too stiff and tricky for him to do solo. Probably more for a 6 or 7 year old. That's OK though...we have a blast doing it together.
This blaster only holds one pellet at a time. You pull the plunger down (that's the stiff and tricky part), put the pellet in the chamber and it's ready to shoot. It easily shoots across the length of our living room and would go much farther. It's winter so we haven't tested it outside yet to see just how far it will go.
This is pretty tiny. It would be a good stealth shooter. Since it only holds one 'round', it probably wouldn't be great for an epic Nerf blaster battle. But we've had a great time with it!
Perfect for little kids - I would say 8 and younger
GREAT first nerf gun
Only loads one bullet at a time. I like this - my son has to find the bullet after each shot. Makes him learn accountability for his toys
Really low price
Fits all kind of bullets - even the knock off brand
A little small so sometimes it's easy to misplace
I have a 4 year old that loves to shoot guns - this was perfect as a starter gun. He has to load each bullet and shoot - then chase down the bullet. Keeps me from cleaning up strays everywhere. I love when we have playdates over - these are the guns that I allow to be out. I like that they can only shoot one bullet at a time- it really helps keep the kids accountable for the toys and not lose things.
Great price too!
Five stars because it is very good.
It's a very good single shooter.
Fits in most pants pockets.
It's very simple to load, the priming bar is on the bottom, so you just pull the bar on the handle.
If you're an adult the handle may be a little small for you, but for a kid it won't be bad if you're the average size for playing Nerf.
It's a good gun for a beginner Nerf Player, because it is inexpensive so you can try Nerf without a lot of money.
It's very good for the price, Very good for the size.
Shoots pretty powerful. Probably about 35 feet.
To small for any tactical rail.
Pretty good for backup. Fits in the the bandolier belt and the tactical vest.
Kinda like the Mega Big Shock.
One of my favorite secondary guns. If you have an arsenal and want a single shooter I recommend it.
It's not the best Nerf Gun, or the worst, for it's size it's one of the best.
Works Great for a side arm. But if there is a lot of people in the battle you may not want a single shooter for back up.
For a cheap secondary it can't be beat, but you could also upgrade to larger weapon (for more money) like a Strongarm, or a Hammershot.
The cons are that the handle is kind of bumpy. It has holes for your fingers but that is not very comfortable, but it isn't to bad. Since you use it more for back up it doesn't matter. Since it's your secondary, and you don't use it a lot it doesn't matter that much if it isn't very comfortable.
This Nerf N-Strike Jolt Blaster is unbelievably powerful for its size. We have shot at targets of 20-30 ft with great precision. You have to take in the coriolis effect when aiming for targets like a bullseye. The blaster sound is subtle enough that it does not interrupt office activities of other hard working coworkers.
The one design flaw that they should fix is the direction of the orange lever to cock the blaster. When you fire this, there is a possibility that your palm could graze it and will not allow for full power. I ended up modding mine to angle the other way.
Overall I really like this since its very small and concealable. I added a Command Strip on the side of the blaster so that i can stick it under my desk and can be whipped out in a moments notice.
