Video doesn't work, tech support stinks, and I am getting the runaround and no answers!

Hope you don't have a problem with the video portion of this product! I tried to create a video clip and all I got was audio, no video. So I contact tech support. It takes a day or two to get an answer. That was on Jan. 6 that I sent in the request via email. I was told to send a copy of the clip that I created to see if they could replicate the problem. Only trouble is, their ticket form doesn't allow you to send copies of video you create with their software. So I emailed back, what to do? Their reply, use Google Cloud, but no link or instructions were provided how to do it. So I emailed back two days ago and I am still waiting for a reply. Horrible, Horrible tech support! Definitely in the bottom 5% of tech support!

Very Very difficult to install on Win 10. First - install pop up after install said Install again.the next 3 Reinstalls were the same Install again.
the last time it popped up I uninstalled it and reinstalled only to get the same message --- To reinstall. I then tried to open the program and could only copy a disk, not anything else the software was advertised to do. And I could only run that part of the program by going to the Nero express icon in the start menu. Very very disappointed.

Quick, fast, COPY CD/DVD feature

Bought this after trying to use several of the free programs on the web. The problem with those programs is they can't do a simple COPY CD/DVD!!! None of the workarounds you try work. For Nero Express it's simple: insert DVD you want to copy, select COPY CD feature, wait till it tells you to install a blank CD/DVD, insert one and it automatically creates an exact copy.

I burn YouTube videos to DVD. I usually make a backup copy. Sometimes one disk is bad, so to make a new backup, it's easier to COPY the one good disk rather than have to redub all the individual videos to DVD again. This is where Nero Express makes it easy.

Took a while to install Nero 2017 Classic, but after the install, was already updated. Has a whole bunch of advanced features which I have not tried yet.

This program was for my wife who loved our old version on Nero which would not run on windows 10 without messages about being unable to update with Nero installed. This version is very similar and allows her to burn the CD's for her Quartet with speed and ease just as the older version allowed. There are more features on this version, but have not had the time to explore all the newest features. It was well worth the price.

My original review gave this software 4 stars. Since that time I have experienced a couple of serious problems with it. In a effort to stop the occasional freeze ups when editing videos I ran the updater. That made the software completely unusable. No video, only audio would load. I had to reinstall again from the original disc. After that I found that this program ran better if run in compatibility mode with Windows XP SP3 instead of Windows 10. That's the way I'm using it now and so far it seems to be fine. I'll give it three stars because it's not totally usless to me this way. Still won't trust the updater though.

I tried at least six times, using all the directions, and couldn't get this to load on my Windows 10 computer, 64 bit. The 64 bit part might be the problem although I thought it was dual, 64-32. Took forever to load and then got a Nero not working popup. Rats. I really wanted this to work. Hope it didn't screw my computer up. Sending it back today.

Bought it for simple editing of videos - what a waste of time and money! After you figure out how to do it the final version is saved in a "shell" that Nero creates . . . which is great if everyone else is running Nero. You have to go back and convert the Nero "shell" to mp4 format, which I did. After waiting forever for the conversion to take place I discover that much of the video did not convert right. It is totally unwatchable! I would never buy this product again!
