The Breville version of the Nespresso Pixie is a nice machine. We used it while staying with friends and had to have one. It makes very good coffee and has a number of nice features, some user variable, such as water pour amount from each button. It is very easy to keep clean, and we like that Nespresso provides a free-return UPS bag for recycling their used pods.
Pros: Good espresso, lots of features, very easy and fast operation. Easy cleanup.
Cons: Quite noisy, if anyone in the house is still sleeping. Limited selection of pods from makers other than Nespresso. Starbucks is ok, haven't tried the couple of others. Not all makers agree consistently on "intensity" ratings of various blends. Pods are relatively expensive - $.70 to $.75 per pod.

Nespresso varieties and ease of ordering are very good. Order a variety pack and reorder what you like. Free shipping over a small purchase amount. Surprise: Some Nespresso decaf varieties are really very good, if you like a cup in the middle of the day or afternoon.

Three things I like about this and this may help your decision making,
1. Compact
2. Quick
3. Flavorful (Either Nespresso pods or Peets Pods)

To get more out of the pods use this way!
There are 2 settings.
1. Dispensing a shot and
2. dispensing 3 times the volume of a shot.
I use Option 1 First and Option 2. immediately after 1. is completed.
You get the worth of each pod.

Enjoy! This will never disappoint you. Far easier to make a coffee or expresso than any other machine out there.

Never owned an Nespresso machine before until now. Well what a difference in a cup of coffee this made for me. I put in (2) Originaline Nespresso pods to give me the BEST 8oz cup of coffee I have really ever had in my life. Seriously! This is so much better how it brews up compared to my old Bunn coffee maker. Small little bad boy with tons of power at 19 bar for a robust flavorful Java! Powerhouse is an understatement, but best thing I can come up with in such a small package. Get you one to try out and all I can say is my experience has been nothing short of AMAZING!

If you like espresso but don't want to put in the work to make your own properly, this is a great system. It's a bit noisy (it sounds a lot like a 12V powered air compressor) but it's trying to produce 19 bar of pressure so it's understandable. I've noticed the buttons have a tendency to get stuck if you press them towards the outside edge (it's happened to me with both the espresso and lungo sizes) but just press them again to free them up. I been using it everyday once or twice a day for the past two weeks and so far, so good.

Great Machine But It Vibrates

Love the machine. Makes great espresso, but I had to take away one star because mine vibrates so much that the espresso glasses tend to move away from the spout. I have to hold them in place or the coffee will miss the glass because the vibration causes it to move. Aside from this minor annoyance, it is a fine machine. Love the fact that it turns on very quickly, makes great espresso with the required foam and then either turns off automatically after a few minutes or I can turn it off manually immediately.

One use so far, and tried with Nespresso and Peet’s pods. Nespresso pods seem to result in richer end product. The machine couldn’t be easier to operate. Instead of taking water reservoir out to refill, I bring water to it to avoid the leaking issue some have experienced. So far, she’s a winner! I’ll be sure to update if I find any quality issues.

One small disappointment was to find that the enclosed Nespresso pods were four months expired. I purchased this at the end of November 2018 and the pods expired in July 2018.

This machine is about what I expected but the temperature of the coffee is low. I drink it with a little milk and I had started to heat the milk before adding coffee to the cup. Now I also microwave the full cup of coffee after it is made for an additional 30 seconds. The heating element is seriously under-powered in this model. Addendum: I hate my new machine. If you like coffee that looks more like tea, this could be for you. I thought I would get a single serving of good strong coffee. NOT!! Avoid. I got a good price. Now I know why.

This machine is wonderful. As a first time Nespresso buyer I didn’t know which machine to buy. This machine is small, very compact. It takes a very small space on my kitchen counter. I bought a larger machine and will be taking this one to my work office. The machine makes strong & wonderful coffee. Very easy to use! This machine will not make a full size of coffe (8oz). It makes espresso & lungos. I bought a different machine because I was using 3 pods a day with my pixie to make a large cup of coffee (that turned into an expensive habit). So, if you’re looking for a small bug strong cup of coffee, this machine is perfect. Look no further.

Love that this espresso machine takes up so little space on a counter. It's literally the size of a small toaster. Also love that the milk frother is a completely separate compact unit, so it can be stored in a cupboard to save space. The espresso from the pixie model doesn't have that gross bitter & watery pod taste like the Nescafe Machines produce. This is good quality espresso with a thick crema. I tried the Lugo coffee pod samples that came with the unit and I found them to taste too weak, but I prefer super strong coffee. Unit heats up after about 30 seconds, then it immediately will brew a drink once it has heated up. It's just under a minute total for an excellent morning brew. The milk frother works well and produces a thick layer of froth without burning the milk. The temperature of the espresso is hot and the temperature of the frothed milk is hot enough for me; although, I think some people would prefer the frothed milk temperature to be hotter than what this frother produces. Cleaning
of both the pixie and the milk frother is super easy, and the used pods are recyclable.

I like Nespresso, I really do, they make rock solid coffee machines that combine simplicity and a high-end feel. In this case, however, I was skeptical; I owned a Latissima One which epitomized simplicity and I was very incredulous when people said that getting this bundle is not a downgrade at all. I waved goodbye to my beloved Latissima One and... I was positively surprised! Pixie does the job perfectly - pulls a perfect shot without programming and makes a mighty coffee machine that will for sure last long. I love my Pixie, but I also love my lattes and cappuccinos and, albeit more complicated to figure out than Rapid Cappuccino System on the Latissima, the Aeroccino 3 is all that you need to get a decent milky beverage every morning. If you are still in doubt, hesitating between a higher-end model and this bundle - I can assure you, it is more than sufficient and allows for a more personalized experience. Definitely 5 stars!
