      I bought this to use as a boot disk on a raspberry pi400. Every time I plugged it into a USB3 port it crashed the computer. If I plugged it into a USB2 port, it eventually crashed it and it didn't respond correctly. I tried it in my Intel laptop and it worked perfectly. I tried changing the cable to the SSD drive but that didn't help. Eventually, I used my Dell Laptop USB-C power supply to power my pi400 and everything worked. I have been booting off of it and using it all day. All the capacity shows up on Ubuntu on the pi400. If you are going to use this, you might want to consider a powered USB 3.0-3.2 hub so the drive doesn't take power from the pi.

      I’ve had a few other 256 GB drives of this same brand and they worked good, so I ordered a 1 TB drive and it worked good backing up another drive for about 2 hours, but then just hung up. I couldn’t get it to work again even after I formatted the drive. I won’t be buying any more of these drives.

      With WoW Shadowlands just on the horizon and the recommendation of utilizing solid state storage for the game, I decided to order this SSD to see just how much my gaming could improve (I game on an HP Pavilion Gaming Edition desktop with 1tb 7200 RPM HDD). I have used Micro SDs by this brand in the past and this SSD was def not a disappointment! Comes with Type-C converter (so do not buy a Type-C to Type-C cord like I did. The converter they supply will plug right onto the USB 3.1 end of the cord so you can utilize a Type-C port for data transfer). A leatherette sleeve is also included and works wonderfully - the drive fits nice and snug inside of it! Arrived on time and as described! For such an amazing value, you can't beat it! It gets a smidge warm when using it to game, but doesn't get too hot (do not keep it in the case when in use. It is aluminum and this will cause extra heat). Transferring files was FAST! WoW is currently over 62 GB and it transfered the entire slew of files for that, my add-ons, and WoW Classic in less than 10 mins! I highly recommend NeTac for all of your electronic storage needs. They sport a great value with quality products. 5 well earned stars!
