No touch screen on this one and I don't think the navigation button is the greatest on the unit but that's just a minor niggle.
Overall a great little mobile (MiFi) device that has had many of my contract personnel and friends have admired.
Being a Netgear router you can't really go wrong.
Performance-wise it's about on a par with my mobile phone, pulling in 4G inside buildings and giving around 20Mbps download speed.
I can't comment about battery life as they're new to us - but it does seem pretty rough that Netgear treats the battery as a consumable (ie not under the warranty agreement), but doesn't appear to have a supply of them to consume.
I get a great signal, much better that my phone. I also have the netgear antenna, but it's not adding as much value as I thought.
The interface is easy to use. The battery is on the small size 2000MAh, but what I do is to leave plugged in on a battery pack and it works all day.
I wish the simcard was easier to access. If you use nano sims with an adapter, sometimes it's tricky to get the sim out.
The baterry life and the simcard are minor issues in my mind, that's way I bought a second unit after having used the first for about a year.
Good job Netgear!
