This is a great hiking boot for the price! Please see update.

These boots are great-looking! The picture doesn't do them justice. The brown is a rich, warm color. They feel good on my feet, and don't bother my ankles. When it's cool outside, (I have yet to go through a winter with them) they keep my feet nice and toasty. They did take a few wearings to break in, but it wasn't all that bad, and was well-worth it. I used to own a pair of Merrells, which I absolutely loved and wore until I wore them out. These perform every bit as well, and are much more affordable. I would buy these again in a heartbeat!
Update: 1/5/14: Recent experiences in these boots have inspired me to knock off a couple of stars. I wore these boots out hunting on a wet, 35 degree day. My toes (and only my toes) got wet, and my feet were freezing! Came home, let the mud dry, took a shoe brush to them to get the mud off, and the netting immediately began to fall apart. I have a feeling one more challenging day in these boots and they will be rendered useless. It's too bad. I had such high hopes for them. Live and learn. Back to Merrells for me, higher price and all. You get what you pay for. These boots are probably fine hiking boots in at least 40 degree, dry weather, but I would not expect much more out of them. They certainly aren't water-proof, at least in my experience.
