This novel, albeit fiction, is a very appropriate read for today's current political climate. The author presents a very realistic, dire situation through a storyline of love and family. It depicts the current happenings in today's South Africa. Before I read this novel, I had no idea of the horrible situation in South Africa. After reading the book, I researched news stories from around the world regarding South Africa, going back several years. This fictional book could easily be a documentary given the events of South Africa for the past three decades. It helps the reader understand what is happening now and how things reached this fervent crescendo.

This was a heartrending read about south Africa's descent into racial madness. It parallels what is happening in America which makes it all the more thought provoking and disturbing. This book challenges the progressive , politically correct talking point that it is impossible for blacks to be racist. A must read for any thinking person who is asking questions and looking for answers concerning what is happening in today's American political and cultural landscape.

The West needs to pay attention to what happened to Rhodesia and White South Africa, the current policies are leading to the same thing occurring in America and Europe. This book gives an insiders view of the future of our homeland if changes are not made starting today. I know a number of White South Africans who tell their sad tale in much the same terms as you see in this book so I have little doubt to the honestly of the writer story.

Though the characters are fictional, Breaky does a phenomenal job to being the white genocide happening in South Africa to life. This book is beyond gut wrenching from trying to live a peaceful life to fleeing and possibly facing death, rape and torture. A must read!
