As I mentioned at the beginning of my review, this book has a lot of different stories going on at the same time—one story about an insane stalker, one about missing women from the same family, & why is Jeanine here now and why won’t she allow Mary to tell Bradley about her? That part really made no sense to me especially as toward the end she allows Bradley to see her. Hard to believe that he saw her and with his knowledge of ghosts he didn’t realize that she was one?
As with all the other books in the series I enjoyed this one but it was a little more confusing that the previous books were—too many stories to take in all at once. I am now in the middle of Book 4 and will probably review that one tomorrow.
No sex scenes and no profanity in this book & I really appreciated it.
And a critical point near the end where one of the ghosts is trying to guide Mary, maybe to the next scene, I don't know because it was hard to tell who or what the ghost was referring to or even if it was past or present. The issue here was the use of too many pronouns. These points may seem picky, and to a writer perhaps they stand out more. But in the end they won't make or break a story. Unless it's excessive. And it wasn't.
Overall, this was a good read and a fast one. I prefer to read a good story with believable characters and Terri Reid has done that. Love the paranormal genre.
I look forward to reading more about Mary and her paranormal adventures.
