First, I never expected the author to put the two previous books of Luke and Lilly. More than half of the book was about the stories I have already bought and read. If I wanted a refresh, I would have picked up those books to re-read them. I was looking forward to a good book like the rest, what I got was something that looked completely rushed.
Second, I absolutely hated the ending. Kimber became such and important part in Lukes life and I was disappointed to see how quickly she was dismissed after finding Lilly. Don't get me wrong, I think Lilly and Luke belong together but I would've at least liked to have seen Luke make complete amends with Kimber then introducing Kimber to Lilly, not as a detective but a friend and confidante after the hell he had been in. This would've easily tied together had the author not rushed the story. I won't even get in to the story about Kimber ending up with Aiden!
Lastly, the ending sucked! It was too basic. Lilly was missing, her dad was after her, Kimber kills her dad, Luke gets to the hospital in time for the birth, the baby is born, THE END. I'm still thinking WTH just happened and where is the rest of the book? I'm disappointed and sad the author rushed this story.Read more ›
But once you get to the meat of it you will enjoy it. Must admit I felt it was a little bit of a shock, but it sets you up for it in the previous book...

The story moves on in the story of Luck. Great read but I was crying through the whole end of the book. Really makes you want to hold onto the characters. Read morePublished 1 month ago by Bonnie E
I feel so sorry for Kimber. She went through so much before she met Luke, whom to her,was her hero. How could the author disgard her, toss her to the side like she was nothing. Read morePublished 3 months ago by Amazon Customer
I don't really know what to say about this one. I forced myself through it as some sort of tribute to the rest of the series and my desire to read them all. Read morePublished 4 months ago by Kaatiya13
