About the Author
At (in)courage you are welcome to a place of faith, connection and friendship, where you will always find yourself among friends. Founded in 2009 by DaySpring, the Christian products subsidiary of Hallmark Cards, Inc., the vision for (in)courage was to create a new home for the hearts of women, where women take turns pulling up a chair to share their stories of what Jesus looks like in their everyday, gloriously ordinary, and often messy lives. Since then, (in)courage has grown into a vibrant community that reaches thousands of women every day, welcoming them just the way they are, offering a space to breathe, loving support, and resources for meaningful connection.

Being willing to weep with friends...
As long as I was with them I could keep the bits and pieces of myself from blowing away...
People are the glue that put other people back together again...
The words Lisa-Jo Baker wrote in Never Unfriended unfurl before me today, the 9th anniversary of losing my forever 20 year old son. The pages are tear stained. This book is balm of Gilead to my soul. I cannot read it quickly. It's to be savored. Bite by precious bite.
How can I thank Lisa-Jo Baker enough for putting words together that soothe wounds thought to be healed in this magnificent read?
These, her words, are glue to the soul...
Makes me want to be that kind of friend to others.
The book is both practical and full of insightful comments about human relationships. Very few books have caused such a meaningful connection for me as this one. So much so, I was very sad when I came to the end. Her stories brought tears of joy and tears of healing as I reflected on my past relationships. I am challenged to let go of past hurts and be the friend that we all want to have, Ultimately, it begins with our relationship with our Heavenly Father, who loves us, see us and will never unfriend us. When we see ourselves the way God sees and love others the way God commands us to, we will not put the unreasonable burden on others to fulfill our needs.
This book has changed my friendship perspective on SO many levels. I can't help but thumb through the pages where I've underlined passage after passage of sound advice, trying to drink it in once more. Ladies, there's just no other way to put it: Lisa-Jo nailed it. You will NOT be disappointed.
(As a side note, this book could easily be done as a book study with women willing to open and share friendship experiences. I think it's designed to strengthen us individually but also within a group setting.)
