I think somewhere after that it leaned a little too much on what others have written, and while I have read most of the books that were referred to (and they are all great books), this book would have been better with less of that. Of coarse if you haven't read any of those books I would also recommend them.
I would have liked it better if the Freedom Business blueprints had more substance and more detail. Lets take the drop shipping blueprint;it says set up a website - find a wholesale supplier - open an account - Gather content. Now to me that's not a blueprint with details it was too vague and lacked enough details. Its like saying that your buying blueprints for your house and you open it up and it says - foundation - floors - walls - roof, without any of the details of the construction. Then tells you to do your own research, read these recommended books on drawing house plans, and figure it out yourself.
So I personally enjoyed the first part of the book and would have like more details from the rest of the book.
The exercises forced me take a good, hard look at WHY I want to make money and WHAT I will do with the money once it is flowing in my direction. The answers were not as clear cut as I thought they would be. I liked the idea of defining the "absolute minimum" amount of money that I need to have a great life and lifestyle. It was actually less than I thought it was going to be. Therefore, I can set up the work he describes, obtain this amount...and then spend the rest of my time enjoying non-work activities.
His premise, do what you love and it won't feel like work (hence, the book's title), is good and catchy for selling books, but a little off the mark with the content. I gave it 4-stars instead of 5-stars because it was not a unique, "earth shattering" approach to working through these issues. But the material was presented in a thought provoking format. If Amazon allowed it, I would give the book 4.5 Stars. If you're going to buy it, take the time to do the exercises and review the suggested websites/YouTube links - and do the introspection Bakke challenges you to do. You'll be glad you did.
