As an MSF RiderCoach ([...]) I use a stopwatch to time motorcycle riders as part of their evaluation.

I wanted a stopwatch which retains each rider's individual time.

Not 'splits' - runners or swimmers might want their time for each lap. Split times are start-lap-lap-lap-stop.

I want start-stop, (next rider) start-stop, (next rider) start-stop, etc.

I haven't found any stopwatch that will store individual times like that except for very expensive stopwatches - or the New Balance Coach Stopwatch.

This inexpensive stopwatch stores 30 individual times. For example, 30 days of daily runs. Or for me, times for each individual rider.

The controls are different than the standard stopwatch. Most stopwatches use the right button to start-lap-stop. The left button clears. This one uses the right for start-pause-end-store. The left is for clearing the stored times. It took me just a short time to get use to it.

I've used it for the past year in wet weather and bright sun. It's held up well, feels comfortable in my hand, and has been reliable.

I like it enough I'm buying a second to keep around as a spare.

I wanted a simple stopwatch to time intervals between sets during workouts. My main criteria were large readout, resistant to sweat, have a lanyard, be easy to use, double as a clock, and be less than $20 (if less than $15, all the better). This stopwatch hits all those points, though it is a little bit feature cluttered and there is a short learning curve for setting and clearing data. Overall it's a decent stopwatch. The grey ruberized case is comfortable in the hand, button placement is good, and it looks like it will take a modest amount of abuse (though I have yet to see if this is true over time).

Screens / Features include:
* Clock/watch screen with day, date, time display (12 or 24-hour format, 2 time zones)
* Chrono (stopwatch) screen with the ability to store up to 23 runs, 30 laps/splits
* Data screen for viewing saved runs (run number, date, total run time, lap number, lap times, best lap time, average time)
* Timer (count-down) screen
* Alarm (alarm clock) screen
Although no mention is made of water-resistance, it looks like it will stand up to normal spray and a quick dunk.

One sets or clears the features by selecting a screen with the mode button then holding down the split/reset or start/stop buttons for 3 seconds. For the most part the extra screens are in-obtrusive if you don't store multiple runs - If you only time one event, that's all you see, though one does have to cycle past the Data screen when returning to the clock screen, whether one uses it or not.

I've used it for workouts and my only minor complaint is that it takes 3 seconds to clear each time. This isn't a big deal and I find the stopwatch comfortable to use.

It uses one CR2032 3V Lithium battery that is user-changeable.

This was perfect for what I needed it for and the price was great too, very affordable. I will definitely buy another one when this one no longer works, if it is available!

The battery in this stop watch kept shifting out of place, so it became useless to me. Maybe it was a defective unit, but either way, I will not buy this again.
