There was a problem filtering reviews right now. Please try again later.
I've worn them during practices and a half-dozen games or so now and they are extremely comfortable. They're very lightweight as well. They are pleasantly snug but don't feel cramped. They hold my feet in place very well; I haven't had a single blister, even when breaking them in. They feel pretty soft around my feet, but still support my feet and ankles incredibly well. (I read other reviews that compared the feeling to wearing thick socks)
Putting them on is a bit trickier than other cleats. It's a one-piece shoe with no tongue, so your foot has to fit through that non-adjustable opening. A bit like ski boots, you have to really tug on the back loop to get your foot in. On the other hand, this is probably a big reason they're so comfortable once they're on. It's not really a drawback, but worth mentioning.
The size 11.5 in this cleat leaves at least another 1.5cm of length in the toe box. The standard width is excruciatingly narrow. For reference, my "last" is almost exactly 100mm at the widest point of my foot, which is borderline between D and EE width (normal and +1 wide), assuming a size 11-12 shoe.
I would have loved to have tried an 11 2E in this cleat, but I bought 2 pair and then life got busy enough for me to miss the return window by a few days.
No complaints apart from sizing issues, and because I don't feel that sizing issues should detract from a review, they're 5 stars until further notice. I'll update the review if that changes!
However, after about 2-3 play sessions of ultimate frisbee with these particular ones, the bottoms (under the sole) actually re-molded and created bumps below the sole that hurt with every step. I don't know how it happened, but this did not happen with the other two pairs I had purchased before.
I wish I could send them back and try again, but I don't know how to.
I would direct someone to maybe purchase them from a different link or distributor.
Up until now, I've been using turf shoes as opposed to real cleats, so can't really compare to others, but totally love these. Fit as expected. Very comfortable and traction out the wazoo. Also like the extra ankle support of the mid-top as compared to a soccer shoe.
