First of all I am not much of a shoe person. I have flat/wide feet and finding wide shoes is a chore. I have been wearing bad sneakers my whole life no standard sneaker fits my wide/flat feet correctly. I always have to go up at least a half size so my pinkie toes aren't unbearably squished but even doing that there isn't much relief. So for the past month I have been looking online for alternatives. I am not a runner I do not need a padded running shoe. I am a mom who cleans often, works out, runs errands and I need comfort. Especially since I recently started working out my quest for a good shoe seemed even more imperative. So for the past month I have been looking into so many brands and reading reviews mostly on Amazon.

I came across this shoe and what struck me first was the color I love it! The second thing was the shape very unusual. The toe part is so much wider and looked like it would fit all my toes unlike the standard narrow sneaker. They came in wide even better!! Some people said the sneaker ran small another said too big but since it came in wide I gave it a shot and bought my true size a 7.5.

They came in yesterday and o m g the color is true to the image hot pink and black! They fit like a glove honest to God I could not believe it. I can wiggle my toes in these sneakers that too me was amazing. I haven't had a chance to work out in them but I did do errands today and I really don't want to take them off. I never bought a shoe that just fit and gave me so much comfort. They are super light and I can feel so much more of the ground. Which for me is nice and perhaps will help me balance better.

I can't say enough good things about this shoe. I am beyond impressed.

At first I was apprehensive about purchasing a minimus shoe--but this shoe is phenomenal; by far the best shoe purchase I have ever made. I usually purchase a 9.5 in Nike so I purchased a 9.5--could have gone with a 9, but the shoe is still comfortable. Toe box is a bit wide but that is to be expected with the style of a minimus shoe.

Daily use: Row, strength train, and distance run (indoor)
Training time per day: 2-4 hrs.

First, these are minimalist shoes. I often seen people complain about a lack of arch support in minimalist shoes. They aren't supposed to have arch support, and that is what's supposed to strengthen your feet in minimalist shoes. They are also supposed to have a wide, typically square toe box. I have recently started buying minimalist shoes, in hopes of strengthening the arches of my flat feet, and keeping my mild-to-moderate bunions from getting worse. Because of my flat feet, I do currently have medial knee pain in minimalist shoes. The zero heel drop of barefoot shoes causes some lower calf and soleus tenderness when I'm on the crosstrainer; so I decided to try these shoes because they have a 4mm drop, and so might help me during the transition.
About these shoes. I love the color. I bought the dazzling blue color. I typically wear a 9 or a 9.5. Neither of those two fit. The 9.5 would have fit if the toe box was more square. This shoe has a toe box that tapers, and so my smaller 3rd and 4th toes were squished. Additionally, the toe "bumper" is not centered, so it looks like your feet are curved in. Even though I have never worn a 10 before in my life, that is the size that fit me. These shoes are SUPER comfortable - like wearing slippers, but with a little more support. Note - because of that slight support and heel raise, they are not totally minimalist (or barefoot). I can not write to durability because I am writing this review too soon.
    Pros: COMFORT and attractive color.
One star lost for awkward toe design - squaring the toe box more would have made the shoe more attractive, and allowed the shoe to be more true to size.
Other minimalist sneaker I like are the Merrell Crush Gloves (also a crosstrainer, but with 0 heel drop, size 9) and the Merrell Arc Access 2 (runners with 0 heel drop but 8mm cushioning from heel to toe, size 9.5).

Great work out shoes! I was looking for a good pair of minimal cross-trainers to replace my older Reeboks. These work great! They are thin enough that I can jump around in them without feeling weighed down but they also support my high arches very well. They are minimal shoes though. My suggestion is that if you are switching from thick padded type shoes to minimal shoes that you allow yourself time to transition by wearing your old shoes one day and the new shoes the next until you make the transition to wearing the new shoes full time.

These are far and away the best cross trainers I have ever owned. I'm on my second pair. I have always struggled with finding a good balance of support and stability for my workouts. I do mostly Hiit training, which has a lot of both jumping and lateral movement. While these are a very minimal shoe, I've never had better arch support and after over a year of wearing it six times a week for workouts I've never had any foot pain during or after exercise.

I bought these to do cross training (weights and running). I've had them a week so far and they are so comfortable I have no reason to take them off even when in the house. I've never had shoes that I can walk all day in and now I have found these. I am considering getting a second pair for when I need to clean these.
During exercise I feel much more balanced and responsive to instability. They are also comfortable enough for running although I have only run short distances in them so far (5kms). I must add that I love New Balance. I've tried other brands and have always experienced some kind of discomfort not worth the money you pay for but New Balance shoes have not disappointed me yet. I'm staying loyal to New Balance :)
