First of all, I think Mudvayne is very creative to have come up with the idea of turning their CD into a game. Kudos on originality.
Second, I love it when a band that can (and does) make good, hard music but can also write slower/calmer music (example: Slipknot's "Circle" and "Vermillion pt. 2"). There are a few of those songs here ("Scarlett Letters", "A Cinderella Story", and "Never Enough"). The CD still has plenty of the good, hard Mudvayne you have come to know and love (the best of which I think is "New Game"). In the middle ground you'll find a some other fabulous examples, such as "Do What You Do" and "Dull Boy", and "We the People."
All in all, a great CD. Mudvayne's sound has evolved a bit, but I don't think that's a bad thing. I like the old Mudvayne and I like the new Mudvayne. Recommended!
