I have to say I was dissapointed in this cd. Mostly it's my fault for not looking closer to see what songs were actually on the soundtrack. I've seen the movie many times and I was expecting songs I remember from the movie. Like
"Girl All The Bad Guys Want" by Bowling For Soup or some of the funk featured by the band.
Most of the songs that are on the CD I would never have even noticed them in the movie. Unfortuatly I think that's how most soundtracks are. The songs you remember from the movie arn't on there but the songs they play two bars of in the background are.
I'd have rated it lower but it is my fault for not researching harder before I bought.

There are some good songs but some aren't on the CD. "Let It Whip" is really great.
For the rap song playing right before he gets to his new school, it is Cypress Hill "(Rock) Superstar". When he comes out of the truck, it is Phil Collins singing "In The Air Tonight". There are also some good funk music.

It was all of the songs I wanted, except the one James Brown song Super bad, in the beginning of the movie that young Dizzy is dancing to is not on there, it has a remix one instead called The new Guy. But other than that it was a brand new cd & came in sooner than I expected.

This cd is great! But as always there are a few I skip on a constant basis, still I love most of the songs.
The only thing lacking on this cd is "Girl All The Bad Guys Want" by Bowling For Soup. It's the song that that is playing on the courtyard, after the last game, right before the football player comes (to answer a question).

I haven't seen this movie yet but I bought the CD last week and it hasn't left my car CD player yet! The CD is fun and has great songs by OPM, Wheatus, Rehab and a great cover of Let it Whip by SR-71. It's a fun CD and great for the summer! A must have for soundtrack fans!

FYI, that song was called "In The Air Tonight," and it's by Phil Collins.
good CD.. and even though the movie had Rollins in it, it wasn't my favorite.

What is the name of that song that plays, after Gil catches the school statue/maskot on fire. When that girl (Courtney) invites him to her party.
