This is a terrific addition to my growing set of rookie read about state books. I use these books for a special unit in school. This one, like the others, is perfect for third graders learning how to listen for information, take notes and fill in a chart. The text is simple, but there is ample information. The pictures are bright and bold. This is a great set of books. It is a shame they are out of print. I hope Scholastic will see fit to reissue them at reasonable rates.
