About the Author
Marcia Dunn is the aerospace writer for The Associated Press, based at NASA’s Kennedy Space Center in Florida. She has covered the space beat since 1990 and written extensively about the human side of space exploration. The New Horizons mission to Pluto has turned out to be one of her favorite all-time stories.

- Reviewed in the United States on March 15, 2016I'm currently reading this small book. The information is terrific and up to date even discussing a new planet, Planet 9 or Planet X that has potentially been discovered 10 to 100 billion miles out. The CIT researchers who have theorized it's existance, Michael Brown and Konstantin Batygin, think this planet is basically the size of Neptune. That will be an extremely interesting find if it is ever actually visually detected.
This book has very small print and the photos, even the ones of Pluto are in black and white. I knocked off one star for that. The cover photo is of rubbery consistency and is nice. I await a much larger book about Pluto and New Horizons with beautiful color photographs.
- Reviewed in the United States on March 22, 2017Very repetitive since it is a compilation of AP press releases. The book is still very interesting and informative. It's almost like a "as it happened". I enjoyed it.

Nice little book. Could have used more scientific data. Can't wait for New Horizons to fly by that next object in the Kuiper belt. To Pluto and beyond!

nonoReviewed in France on April 10, 20162.0 out of 5 stars Déception
