About the Author
Debra is fascinated with the creative process. From arts and crafts to writing, she gains a deep satisfaction in making something beautiful. She is an avid reader who carries a book everywhere—and opens it whenever there is a spare ten minutes. All genres interest her as long as romance plays a part. She lives on the coast of New England with her husband and son and drives a school bus in her spare time. It's still a good read though, so go ahead and take a chance!
Yes, the novel involves BDSM and explores the complex relationship between the two characters fully developing into something more and carrying the plot along. Now this was before pre-Fifty Shades of Grey, mind you. However unlike E.L. James who barely touches the surface of this subculture, Debra is unafraid to explore it further and exposes teh repercussions of this secretive fetish world accompanying some humor in the mix to make it more acceptable for the reader to comprehend.
New Leather is the perfect blend of erotica, yaoi, and gay romance all rolled into one. For those that like stories of Man on Man action, this book does not disappoint!
However, I must acknowledge that the books I held in one hand while I was mast*rbating with the other were written by men (Jack Brighton, Ty Marton, Casey Jordan, Alex Morgan, Harrison Thorn,...). They go more directly to what is essential: D/s, BDSM and rough sex, all of these three things perfectly intertwined.
There is a few female exceptions: Laura Antoniou, SM Johnson, Rachel Haimowitz and Syd McGinley. But even these exceptions did not lead me to such great SM delights. Thanks a lot to all these authors! ;)
