Terry Lee teaches a literature and masculinity seminar, as well as courses in literature and psychology, at a public university in Virginia. His literary specializations range from fairy tales to Milton's epic "Paradise Lost." His interests in psychology are varied, but emphasize Jungian psychology. His book, "A New Path at Midlife: Transformative Relationship & Story for Men" is part psychotherapy, part autobiography, focusing on the profound insights that can come from the often dark and circus-like events in midlife. Anyone facing a classical midlife crisis—divorce, aimlessness, meaninglessness—can benefit from his insights, and the Jungians whose work he cites. The book traces his own recovery from midlife crises.
